We have purchased 2 cars from Rairdon of Bellingham. We visited the lot looking for a vehicle that could hold our family that was not a mini van, and also would do great in the snow. Before we arrived we had contacted the sales department and let them know what we were shopping for. Upon arrival they had 4 cars pulled up front for us to test drive. This saved us time of wandering around the lot. Within a hour we had narrowed our search and decided the Jeep Commander was for us. Our sales guy started the financing paperwork ( which is usually a long boring process) However there was very little back and forth and within 40 Min my husband was signing papers and soon after we were driving away with our Jeep. We have been back several times for regular maintenance and each time we are treated with respect of our time and budget. When time came to look for a more gas efficient car we went back to Rairdon, again we called ahead with what we were needing and upon arrival had 4 cars to choose from. Our family is a tall family 4 of us are 5'10 or taller so we need a car that our teenagers won't feel cramped in the back seat. We didn't even drive the cars, I had the kids sit in the back seat and within 15 min we were off and test driving the Mazda 6. We wanted a used car that got 30MPG average. Again in less than 90 min we were on the road with our car. I am so thankful for the efficient way we were served at Rairdons. We will continue to purchase cars from here because they actually listen to our needs and help find the perfect fit. I would recommend that anyone looking to buy a new car/truck shop here first! We had made a deal with Chris McCoy and Seth at Rairdon of Bellingham over the phone and he wouldn't Our company was looking for a used vechicle. We had made a deal with Chris McCoy and Seth at Rairdon of Bellingham over the phone and he wouldn't honor it when it was time to make purchase. We had made a verbal agreement over the phone and we were working out the details to pick it up. I had spoken with Seth who is their salesmanager to confirm our agreement as Chris was not in the office when I called back to confirm. The next morning I spoke with Chris on the logistics of picking up the car and at this time he made no mention that our deal from the previous night was a no go. During this phone call, I gave him our manager who Chris would be working with to finalize the deal. Later that morning I got a call from our manager and said that Chris raised our agreed price by about $1,600. I called Chris to find out why he couldn't honor our deal and he started making various excuses which didn't make sense to me. For example, Chris started to tell me that business' need to make profits which he said I should understand myself as I am in business. When I countered that argument he went on to say the car manufacturer wouldn't honor the price. After about 5 minutes of Chris refusing and blaming me for not understanding, I gave up. If Chris McCoy or Seth just said they couldn't make the deal because they didn't look at their margins close enough and apologized for it, I would have been fine with that as they would have acknowledge it. But when they deflect, blame me and make excuses that is not fine. I was troubled enough about my experience with Rairdon's to let other people know. I thought the Great Recession would have taught salesman about the importance of customer relations. More
I went looking for a good used car. I had a certain amount and no more to spend. While the other dealers were jerking me good care go therearound, Rairdon and Brandon did everything they could. They even called me and begged me to some down and see what they had. No "dance with the bosses." They showed me the cars for my price offered me the car fax, even got me a wonderful used car for $2400 UNDER what the bank said it was worth. And I got a 4 year bumper to bumper warrenty. No hassels just a plesant staff that didn't treat me like riff raff. More

I have noticed a oil consumption problem on my 2010 Dodge Grand Caravan SXT for the last 8k miles. I bought this new from Smokey Point Rairden Dodge. After having taken it to two different Rairdon service ce Grand Caravan SXT for the last 8k miles. I bought this new from Smokey Point Rairden Dodge. After having taken it to two different Rairdon service centers and asking for them to investigate the issue I was done. Yesterday I traded my van in on a new Honda Pilot. Last visit my wife went in for a consumption check and was told "it's a quart low, lets get you in for an oil change and we can look at it from there" They then scheduled a service for the following week and added no oil. The following evening I noticed the motor making significant noises and checked the oil. None registered on the dipstick. After adding 2 quarts(that I began carrying in the car due to this issue) still nothing registered on the dipstick. Was told this "could be normal" when I confronted the service manager about the problem, and I again needed to come in there every 500 miles. WHO HAS THE TIME TO DO THAT??? I should not have the burden to prove something is wrong with a new car I bought from THEM. My vehicle started this issue with 26,000 miles and I traded the thing away with 36k. In all this time not once did they try to investigate this issue and the cause, only wanted to "prove it was outside Dodge's oil consumption standards" I was told with a straight face that they have never seen a problem like this before, even though the internet is littered with similar issues. Done with this dealership. Love my new Honda, lost thousands on the van but getting away from Rairdon's is priceless. Funny thing is I am now looking for a new 2013 Cummins 3500 and will be going to Dave Smith to purchase and elsewhere for service. I would never give these people another cent. More
This is the best dealership! After numberous visits to dozens of dealerships in Bellingham, Seattle and Everett these guys are the greatest in making things happen. If you are looking for a new or used Vehicle make your first and last stop RAIRDON's.
