The finance guy talked me into an extended warranty, which I usually never get, but it was a fair price for an excellent plan. I want to hug him every time I go in there. Best decision ever.
Now, this is where the story gets interesting. I bought the car in March and I have only had it in my possession 2 and a half months. It was in and out of service the first month 3 times. However, with the extended warranty there had not been any out of pocket costs. Honda even paid to tow it in one of the times when the alternator broke twice in a row. I had a beautiful loaner vehicle each time. The third time the alternator belt broke, I was done with trusting the vehicle I selected. I knew it was used, but that particular car was cursed! The dealership put me back into another loaner which I had for sometime as we tried to find another vehicle and I dreaded the day they fixed mine once again.
THIS FANTASTIC, CARING, THOUGHTFUL group of people/ establishment offered to give me back a trade value equal to my purchase to get me into another vehicle. It is now December and I will be going in to get a new vehicle. Thank you Honda of Sumner for taking the “hustle” and “shakedown” out of cars sales.
