Yea, I bought a Crosstrek... I needed a new “work” car & couldn’t have been any less interested in the whole process. Matt made it as tolerable as it could be. ZERO high pressure I needed a new “work” car & couldn’t have been any less interested in the whole process. Matt made it as tolerable as it could be. ZERO high pressure sales tactics or trying to up sell us on a higher priced package/model which was much appreciated. Fortunately I get supplier discount though my job so no price negotiations was necessary asked Matt about a couple accessories (remote start & hitch) I wanted and he gave me some better options than the genuine Subaru accessories and they even took the vehicle two different places to get everything installed for minimum mark up saving me hours of my life running around town. When we went to pick up the car it took less time than I expected it to from previous experiences else where. Finance guy (forget his name) was easy to deal with and didn’t drag on the mandatory “you need this” extended warranty speech longer than needed & no offers of undercoating, fabric protection, or Simonizing crap. I cut him a check & out the door we went. Matt then took the time to show us how everything on the car works and answered our questions with ease (he actually knows the product he is selling). Car even came with a full tank of gas (we actually stopped on the test drive & Matt filled it) which was unexpected but appreciated. A lot of Matt’s equals at other stealerships around central Iowa could learn a thing or two from him about the customer experience that’s for sure. Thanks again Matt Also need to give a shout out to Paul Moser as we had test drove a Mazda last year when we were looking for a new vehicle for the wife. Unfortunately we didn’t buy it but Paul made our test drive fun and understood that we were only there to look/drive that day and not buy. More
