Good dealer for purchasing limited edition vehicle I bought a limited edition Mazda Miata, ordered directly via Mazda itself. The car had to ultimately be purchased through a dealer, I chose Ramsey sin I bought a limited edition Mazda Miata, ordered directly via Mazda itself. The car had to ultimately be purchased through a dealer, I chose Ramsey since they are local. They were kind enough to call me ahead and ask if I wanted the shipping tape left on the car, or leave it as it came off the truck (definitely a plus for a limited edition vehicle). They sold the car to me at list price, comparison-shopped a few loan outlets for me, and gave me a good interest rate loan. I've heard horror stories from others who bought limited edition cars at other dealers, where the dealers would try hard to mark the price of the car up by rather crazy amounts. I'm sure glad Ramsey didn't try that kind of stuff. It's quite likely that I'll buy my next car from these fine folks. More

Broken Website and lost appointment I tried to schedule an appointment to get my tires replaced. When I arrived they had no knowledge about the appointment . After waiting for 30 minutes they came to tell me they found my appointment that was scheduled for last week. An appointment that when I had called to confirm they said they had no knowledge of. Also 2 of the phone numbers on their site are dead. More

Took 2 trips to fix the issue This is the first time I have ever had an issue of any kind with the service dept, but usually I am going in for an oil change or some other type of p This is the first time I have ever had an issue of any kind with the service dept, but usually I am going in for an oil change or some other type of preventive maintenance issue. This time, I was in because I hit a curb in the snow and was worried that I might have done some damage, though nothing was visible to me . I took it in and was told that I was lucky, it just needed a simple alignment and I was good to go. So that's what was done. The next day I experienced tire noise on the interstate, and the car drifting to one side. So I took it back in, and further damage was discovered that apparently was missed the first time. That resulted in a much more expensive repair. I should have asked for credit for the alignment that didn't fix the problem but I didn't. More

Headlight issue, easy fix My reviews of Ramsey have not always been good, BUT this time they hit it out of the park. I was having a headlight issue - someone local told me that My reviews of Ramsey have not always been good, BUT this time they hit it out of the park. I was having a headlight issue - someone local told me that there was an electrical problem. I called on a Saturday morning and was told to bring it up on Monday and they'd get me in. I drove to Des Moines (normally about 90 min but the weather and traffic in the metro made it twice that), arriving much later than planned. They worked me in - had the Mazda guys look at it - and found the problem was nothing more than BOTH low beam headlights burned out. While they were at it they replaced the wiper blades and a fog light and also checked the fluids and topped them off. Great job by the Ramsey team on that day! More

Chris Donahue is an excellent salesman that has proven he will go out of his way to help a customer. My wife and I asked him to look out for a particular vehicle an is an excellent salesman that has proven he will go out of his way to help a customer. My wife and I asked him to look out for a particular vehicle and he found one that surpassed our needs quickly! He secured the vehicle, took us both for a test ride after his scheduled hours where he explained features thoroughly. Chris also secured a Carfax and vehicle history report before we even asked. We agreed on the purchase and it was ready to go the very next day with a fresh wash/oil / filter change and a new set of windshield wipers. The car looked like it just rolled out of the showroom. The quoted price was exactly what we paid, and the financing process with Phil was fast and entertaining. We will absolutely shop with Chris and Ramsey again and are happy to send anyone we know of to you for the same family oriented and friendly treatment we experienced. More
