Could not correctly change my oil Took my Subaru in for oil change, time belt replacement and 80K service. Good Points; The shuttle service was friendly and my vehicle was done same da Took my Subaru in for oil change, time belt replacement and 80K service. Good Points; The shuttle service was friendly and my vehicle was done same day. They called me and had list of fluid (All) that were "dirty" and recommended sparks plugs changed due to no record of them being changed. Picked up vehicle and when filling up with gas checked the oil. it was half way up twist part of the stick. I promptly took it back same day. Jerry stated it was only 2/10 of a quart over, full mark was notch on stick and dots measure a quart of oil. It sounds false but I had to leave for a meeting. I read owners manual that night, cause what Jerry explained did NOT sound right (first dot is low/second dot is full line). So, I took it back the next day. Jerry was rude but had the work done. Explained they only had to take out 2/10 of a quart. He even had it wrote "2/10" on service paper, I feel this condescension was unnecessary. When I check the level again it was still over but at the notch in the stick. Fed up with the service and treatment I left. As this was my first time here, I am judging their as incompetent and wonder if they can't correctly change my oil how well did they do the other repairs and service. Very unhappy with service. More
