the service consultant very helpful and took time to show me damage to old tire. Installation went quickly. they did get vinyl cover in back on upside down and did not put pullout trunk cover back in storage me damage to old tire. Let me explain my most recent experience buying a recent used car at Ramsey They say when you buy a car is finding the 3 M’s, Machine, Money, and Man. Let me explain my most recent experience buying a recent used car at Ramsey Mazda and the employees that I encountered along the way Machine: The car is great it was how it was described and salesman Jeff “JJ” James did a great job fielding all of my questions throughout the week via email and was very personable, friendly and professional. JJ is highly recommended. Money: I was able to get a good rate and had a great experience with the Finance consultant, Phil Johnson. Once again Phil was able to answer my questions and was a painless process throughout. Phil is also highly recommended Man: This is where my experience falls short. I had a terrible experience with Sales Manager Jeff Rauen. Some of this is on my fault yes, but the way it was handled by Mr Rauen was unacceptable. It started with my trade in, I mistakenly misrepresented that there was no accidents in my trade-in (minor fender bender, other driver admitted fault and was fixed by insurance, not a big deal). At this point Mr Rauen came out of his office and began to be quite aggressive to me saying “So you think you can lie to me? Everyone thinks we lie to them but its okay for you to lie to me?” I was unsure what it was referring to and he was like “well the Carfax proves an accident happened in 2016” I apologized that it slipped my mind. I do not believe that this was an acceptable way to treat a potential paying customer. In hindsight, I should of left the premises, but as I mentioned the first part the “Machine” was great. So yes while I made a mistake, I think it was handled very poorly and was unacceptable treatment by Jeff Rauen. While the Machine and Money aspects of my time at Ramsey Mazda was great, I can not recommend this dealership to purchase a used car while Jeff Rauen is still an employee. More
