We own also own a Honda product and, although that dealer claims to be "smart", I've never left there feeling like I wasn't being taken advantage of. I have never felt that way at Ramsey. Dennis provides practical advice, and reasonable courses of action when prtoblems do arise, to keep my high mileage subie on the road without breaking the bank. The check in procedure is quick, the waiting area is stocked with snacks, and you can bring your dog. How cool is that? More

Common warranty repair Had an issue with radio staying on when shutting off the car. Apparently this is a bit of a common occurrence. Got the car in 2 days later with a very quick repair while I waited. All is well now and warranty covered the repair. More
Oil changed 30,000 mi maintenance during Covid-19 pandemic Generally, I enjoy bringing my Outback to this dealership. Given Polk County area of Iowa has been on the “Cities in the Covid Hot Zone” list I was s Generally, I enjoy bringing my Outback to this dealership. Given Polk County area of Iowa has been on the “Cities in the Covid Hot Zone” list I was surprised there was no apparent signage in the service area of precautions being taken. At the desk there was a bottle of hand sanitizer sitting on top of a disposable face mask but no sign as to its use. I was driving in from a distance a loaner was reserved for me as the service work would up to 2.5hrs. That was very nice. Knowing the handle, steering wheel and key fob had been cleaned would also have been nice. I cleaned them before and after my use. On the positive side, the office had plexiglass between customers and the office group and they did have signs about distancing and not putting personal items on the counter. However, the very nice woman handed me her pen to use to sign. I used my own. Obliviously, there needs to be some education at Subaru for everyone’s health safety. Perhaps I was expecting more than Subaru had in place for additional safety education. That seems so counter to the Subaru messaging. Aside from my dismay at the lack of obvious hygiene practices I was very annoyed that the guy that was supposed to call me when my car was done did not do so. I finally got bored, hot and tired and went back to the dealership 30 mins after the projected done-time. I discovered my car had been done for some time. At least I got to end the experience on the upside, the car wash was working this time. More
