Made a deal over the phone for a used 2019 Toyota Highlander. I live approximately 2.5 hours away from the dealership. We agreed upon a date and time for me to take delivery. I took a vacation day from work and drove to the dealership with certified bank check in hand only to eventually find out the vehicle was sold two weeks prior. They did at least pay for my gas but this is absolutely inexcusable. Lesson learned: Make sure they lay eyes on the vehicle you’re buying before making the trip. More
