Just found out that the defective cladding/garnishment and mirror casing are not covered under warranty. The service department folks are great to work with, but Subaru does not seem interested in a long and mirror casing are not covered under warranty. The service department folks are great to work with, but Subaru does not seem interested in a long term fix. I’m being told that the dealership basically absorbed the cost of replacing everything as a “courtesy”. The “remedy” is for me to park down my driveway, away from the windows that reflect the intense heat. So I can’t park in my own driveway in a place that keeps my vehicle close to the house and out of the way of my wife’s car. That’s the remedy? That’s both laughable and pathetic. Again, Chuck and his crew of advisors are as good as they get. Nothing but respect for them. But if that’s the solution to a defective car part, at least according to Subaru, then you’ve lost all my respect as a car company More

I drive over 30 minutes to get to this dealership when there are many closer Subarus, and that is due to Mark’s customer service and trustworthiness. We are always treated with respect. They have an adequately supplied (with goodies, and coffee) waiting room. We are dealt with in a very timely manor. By being able to secure an appointment on line, this is very convenient. One huge plus is our Service Person TOM GILBERT. We are able to choose Tom on line when we make our appointment, another plus. Megan was our initial contact when we first arrived, as Tom was just finishing with another customer. We have dealt with her before and she is always very affable and professional. Not sure about the sales department, but their service department is a bunch of scammers. My wife took in our Subaru for a recall fix, and walked out with a $140 bill for nonsense. I suppose it was my department is a bunch of scammers. My wife took in our Subaru for a recall fix, and walked out with a $140 bill for nonsense. I suppose it was my mistake for forgetting to tell her, "don't let them do anything other than the recall repair.", and that's exactly what they did...conned her into a $140 bill for what should have been a free recall repair by replacing $30 worth of parts in less than 5 minutes. (Got that whole hour's worth of labor to charge her). She didn't know any better, and they scared her with the "severity" of the cabin air filter and non-essential bulbs that I could have easily replaced myself. Shady business practice. I don't mind them pointing things out, but, scaring her and taking advantage of her is nonsense. Never again. I'll drive back to Williams Subaru in Charlotte where they are honest and trustworthy. Marked Megan Rockwell as who she dealt with, but, the fact is she doesn't remember the guy's name and it won't let us submit the review without choosing someone. More
