Do not buy a vehicle from this dealership! All they want to do is make a sale and make you disappear. Terrible customer service, sold is a warranty that we can’t use and sold us a new truck that has issues that we were not told about and they have no interest in trying to work with us and keeping happy customers.

"Buying a Truck"

I went to Rapids Ford just looking to see what they had for used trucks. After seeing the great selection of vehicles on the lot, I decided to go in a talk to a sales person. When I walked in, I was greeted by Seth and we sat down at his desk and he took the time to listen and ask questions to what I wanted in a truck. I was actually thinking of leasing a 2018 F-150 but decided to buy a 2014 F-150 instead. I was able to trade in my 2010 Ram that I purchased 1 1/2 years ago, from Rapids Ford. Seth is great, he listens to what u want in a vehicle and does his best to get you all the features that you are looking for. Then into the finance department, Mike is great also, very polite and helpful. Both Seth and Mike are layed back, have a great sense of humor and they do there job very well. To me that is important in customer service. I would recommend Rapids Ford to all. Thank you again Seth, Mike and all the great people that work there.

"Bad Aftercare"

Bought a $5,000 and immediately discovered a serious problem on the 1 1/2 hour drive home. It was indicated by the warning lights. Since it's one of those intermittent light things, it didn't happen on the test drive. I looked it up on the Internet and it seems it's a common problem for that car having to do with the AWD (all wheel drive). The next day I took it to my local Ford dealer in Antigo. Sure enough, it's what I found on the Internet. Turns out it's going to cost me $1,200 to get fixed. I immediately contacted the seller. Of course, they washed their hands of it. This was my salesman's reply: "According to the manager, it wasnt an issue the vehicle was having when we had it here. It wouldn't be covered as something that we would be repair." The people are nice enough when selling, just don't expect ANY help if you get a car with a problem. And, considering they are a Ford dealership, you'd think they'd at least offer to do the work for cost. No such kindness from this dealership. Be warned!

"Don't care about their customers situation........"

I bought a used car here because I really needed a lower priced car for daily driving and didn't have a lot of money to spend. I figured because it was a dealer the car would be decent and have hardly any problems, I even brought my Grandma who is a normal customer their and has bought a few cars from them and has work done their too, hoping they would give me a reliable car. They found a car and worked the price very well for me to afford, and test driving it was very nice and handled very well, but coming back to the dealer and doing paperwork, they rushed through all the paper work. I didn't get to even read all the paperwork on it to see what is wrong with the car and what has been done to it. Because my grandma trusted them and I knew a few people who said they were good, I figured I was in good hands and bought the car.(My Mistake) Now I have a lot of work to do on the car and no time to do it because I work so much, I have to borrow a car to get back and forth to work and have to save up money to fix the xxxx thing. My grandma who is a normal customer is not happy at all with this dealer. I will not go to this dealer to have work done on it, I trust myself to do it instead. There is a lot more I would say about this dealer but overall this dealer is not reliable at all and they will take advantage of anyone who is need of a car that is not new and they wont make a lot of money on. They don't care, it's all about the money to them, but that is how people are today.
