We purchased a used 2017 Civic. This is the third Honda that we've purchased. The first one that we purchased was a used 2011 Honda Accord and my daughter bought a brand new 2020/2019 Insight. So naturally when my son needed a car we came here first. Found a car that we liked and bought it. Literally as we came out of the office of the finance guy, our sales rep led us to our vehicle gave us the ONE and only FOB for the vehicle said that we could get another one for $400-$500 dollars were there any questions? The other two vehicles we purchased, the sales rep took the time to go over the features of the vehicle with us which would have been nice this time as the vehicle doesn't come with a manual. I felt like as soon as we bought the vehicle it was see ya! Which is fine, I noticed that the sales rep had just seated another customer. I can be respectful of his time. He's trying to make a living and the timing was bad. The thing that burns me is the FOB. I feel that this should have been made clear up front, before we purchased the vehicle. Not as we're headed out the door. This isn't like going to an Ace hardware store and getting another key cut for $3-$4 dollars. This just added another $400-$500 to the cost of my vehicle. The other two Honda's I purchased came with two sets of keys and a manual. These were my expectations. I'm sorry, I feel cheated. There's a reason we came back to Honda. I was expecting better and am left wanting. Could have gone somewhere else and gotten treated better. The time spent trying to upsell me floor mats, and extended warranties might have been a good time to ask if I wanted another FOB? Don't you think? Would you be willing to reimburse me the cost of the 2nd FOB? $252.72 Best Regards, -Dave
