Rapids Honda

Roger was so patient and helpful finding me the perfect vehichle. After we test drove 4 vehicles in one day, I left with no pressure to continue driving similar vehicles at other dealerships, while waiting vehichle. In 4 days I drove many vehichles, and had appointments to drive more. I wanted to redrive one of the 4 vehicles I tested out with Roger. I called his cell phone Saturday morning to make certain he'd be available as he was not pushy. He said he'd be ready for me to come in and have the vehicle ready. I ended up wanting to purchase it. It needed a good detail, which he assured us would be done. When we sat to do paperwork he was offering protectant for the vehichle. Being my husband has a shop and all the products we decided to decline. He was not pushy at all. However being we declined, the new car sales manager came over and informed me that 2 of the protectants had already been applied and therefore the price of the vehicle was $700 more than advertised. She then told me being we didn't want it they knew what I was looking for and would call me if they got anything in my price range. Wait, what? You're asking me to leave because I opted out of a protectant?? I explained how that is false advertising, on top of that, why am I being asked to buy something that was already applied? She then proceeded to tell me she was already $3,000 upside down on that vehichle! Well if you're already upside down why are you spending $700 coating a car with a special wax? And why wasn't it included on the sticker with the package and options? And why wasn't it included in the sticker price? And why did you price a vehicle $3000 below what you paid? There was no negotiation of the asking price. We noticed the car was almost ready for tires but we were told we would have to pay additional as the sticker price reflected the vehicle as it stood by the used car sales manager. Makes sense, but the female manager just contradicted that! After a conversation took place I was astonished at how she came at me aggressively and disrespectful as I was about to buy the most expensive vehichle we've EVER purchased. At this point I stood up to leave and let her know I would never step foot in her dealership again. Roger made it right. He waived the additional fees and had the car detailed and spotless inside. I got the car I wanted, at a pretty fair price. I'm happy with my purchase and with Roger as well as the finance man we worked with. More

I would give 0 stars if that was a choice. I was very disappointed they quoted me $3200 to fix my air conditioning. I went to an independent garage and got it fixed for $250. Great experience overall I purchased two used cars from Jihan during a two week period. I was very happy with both purchases and with Jihan. The only issue that kept me from giving 5 stars was the last minute up-charge attempt for the paint protectant the dealership markets. I was surprised and very disappointed that any Honda dealership was trying such an old car sales ploy. For a minute, I thought I was living out a scene from the movie "Fargo" and was purchasing an Olds Ciera with the rust-proofing up charge. Unfortunately the use of that sales tactic may keep me from ever returning to the dealership. More
