After visiting numerous dealerships (Audi, BMW, Acura, and 2 other Lexus dealerships), I was extremely impressed with this particular dealership (Ray Catena lexus in Freehold). The other dealerships gave and 2 other Lexus dealerships), I was extremely impressed with this particular dealership (Ray Catena lexus in Freehold). The other dealerships gave the usual feeling of trying to make an immediate sale, downplaying my other car options, and really just making it seem as if I had to by the car at that time, if not the offer would not stand. After visiting Ray Catena and dealing with Ed, I was smiling the entire weekend (and I hadn't even made the purchase yet). They were extremely welcoming, very professional, honest and upfront about everything, and have been very supportive even after we already closed the sale. Ed was one of the most honest car salesmen I've ever met, more of a friend looking to help you rather than pushing you to purchase the vehicle. He kept telling me to take my time, and that I could always come back and he would be more than happy to help me. Everything he said that would be the case, ended up to be the case, and they went above and beyond making sure I was comfortable with everything before any paperwork was done. A separate (much closer/more convenient) Lexus dealership even attempted to run my credit before we had discussed pricing.. My experience at Ray Catena was the exact opposite. They made it apparent that they were more interested in a long term customer rather than making an instant "pressured" sale. I can now say I will be a long time customer of theirs, and I couldn't give a better recommendation for Ed P. I'm surprised he is a car salesman and not a trainer for car salesman. Outstanding! He changed my view of the whole "car buying" process. More

I have been buying cars (mostly luxury) for the past 30 plus years and this was the most enjoyable and professional experience I have had. Lloyd was my sales person and Joel is the sale manager. On a scale of 1-10 I would rate their performance as a 15. Lloyd was the best sales person I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He was always available and able to answer all of my questions. His knowlwdge of the car I leased (the new GS350) was terrific. It is a very stae of the art car and he knew it inside and out. After delivery he called to see if I had any questions and he set up a training session at the dealership.I would recomment him to anyone looking to buy or lease a Lexus. Joel was equally great to deal with. Not pushy and totally professional. Both are a credit to the industry and to the Ray Catena organization. I can't wait to work with on my next Lexus.
