Car buying experience We bought our first Ray Catena car in 2005 , it was a 2005 CLK convertible for my wife , since then I have went back and bought 8 other vehicles , the We bought our first Ray Catena car in 2005 , it was a 2005 CLK convertible for my wife , since then I have went back and bought 8 other vehicles , the service was always great . Things changed however in 2011 when I was looking for 911 and was introduced to (guy) gentleman at the time, by the name of Mike Marinelli , after that, buying a car was no longer just buying a car , it became an experience , just so you know I am not your typical looking 911 ($145,000) car shopper...prior to actually buying the car I must have went to the porsche dealer 5 times(not to mention Paul Miller and Schneider Nelson Porsche) just looking and talking to different sales people ( remember I am not your typical looking 911 buyer), in other words if you think too much , you may think I am just wasting your time, the day I met Mike I felt as if he known me forever, almost, as if, we were family , without hesitation I was in a 911 S on an awesome test drive , next time I went back he took me off site to what I called Porsche heaven , there I saw the 911 C4S I always dreamt about , 2 days after it was in my driveway ,since then I have bought 5 more vehicles( 4 Porsche and 1 Jag) from Ray Catena, all from Mike and because of Mike , sometimes I would stop in just to talk , because he is always welcoming and always find the time , then I find myself negotiating a trade , just last month my wife and I were just driving by and stop to see what was going on at the Mercedes store next store , after leaving there we stopped to say hi to Mike and ended up trading in our 2012 Panamera 4 for a 2017 Macan on that one visit , we loved the panamera and never thought of getting rid of it , its an awesome car , but again it wasn't the car that sold us , it was the feeling that we got, buying the car from the person that was selling the car. Ray Catena no doubt gives excellent service , but if it wasn't for Mike Marinelli we would not be such loyal Ray Catena customer , we have stopped by almost every Ray Catena dealer and we saw cars that we would love to drive , jag , ranger rover hse , Mercedes S coupe ,we just could not commit , its like driving 10 miles out of your way to go to your cleaners , or your favorite coffee shop and passing 5 or 6 cleaners and coffee shops on the way ... just not the same experience ...thanks Mike , you make dreams come true. 12 years loyal.
