I brought it to a dealership and they found that it was 2 quarts low, so they filled it. Before the car got to 900 miles, the check engine light came on. I brought it back to a dealership and they ran the codes, finding 3 transmission error codes. Reeder Chevrolet came to pick up the car. I told them, I don't want that car due to all the problems with it being brand new. They told me to order a 2026 due to not many 2025 still around and there would be a $10,000 difference. When the new car came in I was given a choice of taking the old car with the problems repaired or the new one with just about the same extras. I did not want the old one back so I accepted the deal. It turned out to be about a $15,000 difference and I was told by the general manager the tire and wheel warranty that I purchased separately for the first car would transfer over to the new car. They cashed that warranty out and put it as a down payment for the new car before I even made a decision on what car I wanted and then I had to repurchase the warranty of nearly $2,000 again for the new car. They are going to respond to this complaint (so readers think they are going to help) saying give us a call and we will take care of this. I tried that on another complaint with this issue and their answer was, sorry there's nothing we can do about it, good by. I've tried calling and texting the general manager numerous times with no responce and the staff telling me he's on vacation for about 3 weeks so far. General Motors has done nothing but give me some reward points that I'm still waiting for. What a joke. More
I am a previous customer of Reeder. When I had issues with a previous GMC dealership to schedule service, my first thought was to come back there. I was able to get an appointment easy When I had issues with a previous GMC dealership to schedule service, my first thought was to come back there. I was able to get an appointment easy online, received sufficient reminders, and checked-in easily the day of the appointment. I arrived 2 hours earlier than my appointment thinking I would have to wait and they processed my vehicle and returned it to me at the time of my appointment. I am happy to be a repeat customer and look forward to conducting the rest of my service work with them. More
I arrived at the dealership on a Saturday to look at a used truck that turned out to be not what I wanted. So then I was turned over to new trucks. I looked and said I would decide overnight and let them used truck that turned out to be not what I wanted. So then I was turned over to new trucks. I looked and said I would decide overnight and let them know the next day. We'll because I live 30 miles away, I agreed to let them value my trade and was told it wouldn't take 15 minutes. After a lengthy time, we made a deal, but was told it would have to made that day. So then like the time stopped.they told me they were gonna wash the truck and fill the fuel tank. I agreed. When we finally got into finance, I asked could they go wash and fill truck while we were doing paperwork, and the finance lady called and instructed them to. When we exited finance the truck was still in same spot and neither had fuel and was still dirty. After being at a dealership for 5 to 6 hours with no lunch or dinner, I did not enjoy waiting for them to go get a fuel card and go put fuel in my truck, while I stood in the parking lot waiting even longer. Also the vehicle got washed when I got home after dark that night by myself More
I was worried about my vehicle after a recent oil change. The technicians were fast and knowledage as well as their whole customer service was top notch. I have never felt more welcome at a dealership. I wil The technicians were fast and knowledage as well as their whole customer service was top notch. I have never felt more welcome at a dealership. I did not get any feedback after a 27 point inspection was completed. I’ve told the service department on two occasions now of some issues I’ve been experiencing with my vehicle and feel like my concerns was completed. I’ve told the service department on two occasions now of some issues I’ve been experiencing with my vehicle and feel like my concerns are not being taken seriously. With my warranty coming to an end soon, I’m nervous I may not get any resolutions in time. I also set up an appointment online for an oil change which listed a price of 89.95 but it ended up costing about $10 extra. More
The customer service experience at Reeder Chevrolet Knoxville is exceptional during the vehicle purchase process. I recently purchased a 2025 Tahoe Premier and purchased additional warranty coverage. Knoxville is exceptional during the vehicle purchase process. I recently purchased a 2025 Tahoe Premier and purchased additional warranty coverage. However, the customer service experience deteriorates significantly when attempting to obtain warranty repairs. One of the additional warranties I acquired was the ding shield protection, which guarantees coverage for any dent on the vehicle’s exterior not exceeding the size of a credit card. Unfortunately, I encountered a minor dent on my hood caused by a rock. I scheduled a warranty repair at Reeder Chevrolet Knoxville, where a PDR technician performed the repair. Upon receiving the vehicle back, I noticed that the repair had worsened, with the dent appearing more pronounced than before. The technician had pulled the dent too far out, creating a visible bubble that was more prominent than the dent itself. I expressed my dissatisfaction to the sales manager, Brian, who suggested that I consider installing a bug shield to conceal the unsatisfactory repair. However, I declined to purchase a bug shield, as I felt it would be an unnecessary expense after investing $82,000 in the vehicle. Determined to rectify the issue, I returned to the body shop to present the repair. The technician acknowledged the extent of the damage and expressed regret for the improper repair, even expressing that the body shop could have done better. They informed me that the only viable solution was to have the hood repainted and hammered back down to its original condition. I agreed to the repair, and it was completed, albeit with a repair bill of $573. I believe that this repair should have been covered under warranty, as it was a direct result of the initial repair. Regrettably, my experience at Reeder Chevrolet Knoxville has left me deeply disappointed with their customer service after the initial purchase. I will not be purchasing another vehicle from this dealership in the future. More
I was surprised at how quickly they took my car in, and began evaluating the needed repairs. I was at the dealership less than an hour, and given a courtesy ride home. Within a couple of hours, an estima began evaluating the needed repairs. I was at the dealership less than an hour, and given a courtesy ride home. Within a couple of hours, an estimate of the cost of repair was emailed to me. The final cost was exactly what was agreed to, and I actually got my vehicle back a day earlier than originally expected. More
I never worry about what I will be told when I take my car to be fixed. My family has used Reeder for decades and I have never had a bad experience. I appreciate how they break down the critical needs a car to be fixed. My family has used Reeder for decades and I have never had a bad experience. I appreciate how they break down the critical needs and the things that can wait a bit. This helps to keep me and my family safe, while being able to plan/budget for the other needs. Their prices are fair and their staff is always thoughtful and competent. The showroom/waiting areas are always clean and pleasant. It is a great dealership. More
Dealership is absolutely garbage. Purchased by new owner and does not honor five free oil changes they used as selling tactic. I bought the car 2 days before dealership was sold. They Purchased by new owner and does not honor five free oil changes they used as selling tactic. I bought the car 2 days before dealership was sold. They also told me the car I purchased and had only driven 1500 since leaving the dealership needed new tires and an alignment. Will never use them again not recommended to anyone. Steer clear! More
