Regal Honda - Service Center

Service I would have rather the pricing for the filters be more inline with places like Tire Kingdom/Walmart/Good year. They are not doing anything any differ I would have rather the pricing for the filters be more inline with places like Tire Kingdom/Walmart/Good year. They are not doing anything any different then those mentioned. If dealerships would align their pricing a bit more, they may find that people would be easier on the wallet while there getting other services. Nothing wrong with the service I got, just would rather see better pricing. (Ex. Regal $100 for swapping out my engine and HVAC filters, in total 8 minutes for me to change out so I am sure not as long for them. Goodyear same 2 filters was $60, Walmart was $55, Tire Kingdom was $65. I compared the filters that they are using and Walmart's filter was Purolator OEM equivalent, Goodyear was Goodyear OEM equivalent, TK- was Fram OEM equivalent and if I purchased the HONDA filters online through AMAZON the pair would have been $44 which one of sellers is a Honda dealership. If the current shop rate is $120 an hour NOT CONFIRMED then that is $2 per minute, which mean if given 10 minutes to swap out both filters (remember they do this all day) that would be $20. $44 for the filters off of Amazon pricing and $20 for the labor would put me at a sweet $64 plus taxes and fees. Now I do understand that dealerships goes by a shop rate book that says how much time it allows for any type of work for your specific vehicle, but come on.....You can't prove to me that if someone is selling the HONDA brand filters for $44 and making a profit that the dealership can't do the same. The above scenario had the pricing been lower more like $68-$70, I would have added a tire rotation on top of it which would have been more money for the dealership. I am all about getting my vehicle serviced at the dealership just for piece of mind, but you are leaving available work and money out there because people don't want to spend money at the dealership when you have places like Goodyear/TK/Walmart that can do the same job for far less and they are making profits also. Just trying to help out. Regal has always been good to me on the purchases of the many vehicle I have gotten from that dealership. I will still recommend the dealership to all of me friends and family More
