Paid for new brakes, No emergency brake My father took our car in for an oil change and the service representative recommended that the brakes be replaced which we did. We brought the car ho My father took our car in for an oil change and the service representative recommended that the brakes be replaced which we did. We brought the car home and found that the emergency brake was barely working and needed to be adjusted. My father took the car back and was told that would be an additional charge ($200+). Why wouldn't an emergency brake be included in the cost of doing the brakes? Certainly not the experience I was hoping to have at the time I'm looking to purchase a new car. More
