"We have been fans of the Toyota Prius for quite some time and decided that our granddaughter who is going off to college could use the help of the am "We have been fans of the Toyota Prius for quite some time and decided that our granddaughter who is going off to college could use the help of the amazing fuel economy it provides versus the farm truck she was currently driving. So we decided that we'd give up our second Prius that we've owned. That led us to the local dealership here in town, Reliable Toyota. When we pulled in there were some new Prius's sitting out front so we parked and began to take a look. That's when we were approached by representative of Reliable and he began to ask questions about our situation. We explained that we were previous Hybrid owners and that we were looking to replace our 2013 Toyota Prius. From the outset the representative Nathan showed complete attention to our needs, listened to our wants and gave us many different options without every trying to influence our decision. He explained the updated features of the new Prius and allowed us to drive it without trying to sell it to us. When we arrived back at the dealership he explained that the new Corolla was now available in Hybrid along with the updated Camry. He grabbed a key to the Camry so we could sit inside of it and compare it to the Prius. We decided that we were still fans of the Prius more than any other vehicle and the blue one we drove was a great fit for us. Once we got inside Nathan asked if we were excited to find out about the finances of the vehicle and we agreed to. Once again he went over our options before giving the information to his bosses to present us with an offer to purchase the vehicle. He was able to clearly explain how Reliable Toyota was able to give us such a great offer and allowed us to make our decision without any outside interference. We decided to purchase the vehicle however not that day. Nathan was more than accommodating by coming in on his day off to get the vehicle gassed up and detailed, then went over all the features (including the parking assist feature) to make sure we were happy with our choice. Austin the business manager finalized everything in a swift and smooth fashion. Reliable did such a great job that we'll be sure to recommend them to our family and friends who are looking for a new vehicle. Go see Nathan, you won't be disappointed! Satisfactory My experience with Reliable Superstore was overall satisfactory. After submitting a finance application, I received a phone call within minutes. I spo My experience with Reliable Superstore was overall satisfactory. After submitting a finance application, I received a phone call within minutes. I spoke with Sean Akins who was very helpful and responsive to my current financial situation. We set up a time for me to meet with Kyle Orr on Friday, 5/17. When I arrived to the lot and entered the building, I was informed by another Sales Consultant, Michael Agee that Kyle had the day off. I wasn’t upset because I assumed that Sean didn’t know Kyle’s schedule. Nonetheless, Michael took over and began to assist me. I explained my situation to Michael and informed him that I had no money down and wanted to finance a car under $10,000. I later found out that that wasn’t possible and that the car had to be over that amount. For some reason, I had to fill out another finance application even though I had already done so online. I didn’t care too much because I knew there was going to be plenty more paperwork to come. I informed Michael that I would like the payments to be under $200 as well if at all possible. After we got all of the info taken care of, Michael showed me a car that was a lot newer than I anticipated but I really liked the look of it and it was cheaper than expected. Fast forward, waiting for financing took awhile, but that was to be expected. After I got approved, Michael informed me that he would sell me the car for $12,000 before the addition of the administration fee, but my payments were going to be $252 a month. That was higher than I wanted, but I understood that was the best that could be done for me. I signed the agreement and he said that all I needed to do was wait for someone from finance to complete the rest of the paperwork. After waiting for almost an hour, Michael walked back and asked why I was still sitting in the same spot and if finance had come over yet. I told him, “No, they haven’t.” He informed me that he would get ahold of someone right away. I probably waited for another 20 minutes or so, but finally was approached by Sean from the finance department. Sean informed me that he had set me up with a great warranty and that the cost of the vehicle was brought down to $11,600, but the cost of the warranty added an additional $2580 bringing the grand total to $14,180, which bumped up by monthly payments to $266. That wasn’t that big of a deal to me and learning from experience, I knew having the better warranty would be beneficial for me. What I didn’t care for too much was that this warranty option/cost was never offered or explained to me. They just went ahead and did it. Now I don’t know if it’s something I missed in the contractual agreement or if it was something lost in translation, but I kind of thought it was underhanded/unprofessional to not inform me until after the fact. However, I didn’t make a big stink about it because for the most part it was a good deal and I knew the warranty might come in handy down the road. So overall, besides the 4+ hours of wait time, the miscommunication about the warranty, and the overall cost of the vehicle, my experience was very good and I appreciated all of the help I received from Michael and Sean!
