Meh.Probably typical experience but not something I’d repeat The sales experience was deceptive and the sales manager played games with an advertised discount by ‘including’ a separate discount from Costco as ‘p The sales experience was deceptive and the sales manager played games with an advertised discount by ‘including’ a separate discount from Costco as ‘part of the deal.’ Next, during the closing of this transaction, the finance office presented forms for me to sign that had the price of the vehicle $1500 higher than agreed. When I questioned that, a software ‘glitch’ was to blame. Well, of course. Ridiculous. Last, an email I sent to the salesman 2 days after purchase about the broken rear sunshade that the car was sold to me with was never addressed. UPDATE: I didn’t see the prompt email reply from Joe in my junk file. Joe responsed promptly and therefore deserves a 5 out of 5 for his portion. To be reasonable, as to the finance and service portion, this transaction occurred at year end and I would expect that the folks working were doing their best to keep on top a busy few weeks wrapping up the year. The purchasing experience at this dealer is altogether mediocre, at best. Nothing overtly horrid, but no reason to return for sales or service. I do business with luxury brands in Columbus, as well, and, generally speaking, find the experience at Byers Porsche, Infiniti of Columbus and even MAG, significantly more honest and professional. As the saying goes, you get what you pay for. The good news is that I found an American-made car worth purchasing and that is a very good thing! More
