I went to Ricart Automotive looking for a new or used vehicle. When I arrived, I found the sales staff to be friendly, courteous, and respectful of my disdain for high pressure sales tactics. I had a wonderful experience at Ricart. The staff was friendly, the financing was easy and the overall experience was great. Some things took longer than we expected. The most recent bad experience was that I found two vehicles online that I really liked so I went to the dealership and drove both decided I liked one better. Both were listed as the same price but Jo vehicles online that I really liked so I went to the dealership and drove both decided I liked one better. Both were listed as the same price but John told me that one vehicle had more wiggle room on the price than the other so I chose the one that they would work on the price. We sat down to do the "wheeling and dealing" and he gave me a price that still was too high for the value of the car. I researched the cars very well before going down there so I had a little more knowledge than he thought I did. What really ticked me off is that I gave a VERY fair offer for the car and he told me that his manager wouldn't accept it. He never even asked his manager about the offer. It isn't his place to accept or deny my offer, its the managers job. I got up and walked out and I will NEVER set foot in that dealership again and I make sure to everybody not to go there. A few years ago I had bought a brand new car, right off the show room floor from them and paid $20,000 for it. One would assume that when you spend that much you might get a little courtesy from the service department. Not at Ricart. I had a problem with the power locks and alarm so I took it to service and the guy called me the next day so I went to pick up my car. He told me that they couldn't recreate the problem and then he said that maybe I was too stupid to figure out power locks. I reported him to Nissan Corp (my car was a Nissan) and I never saw him in the service department again. More

I went their in search of a car. At first, I didnt think that I would be able to get one but, Rick Johnson realy worked hard for me and made my dreams come true! Bryan is a very personable sales person and not pushy. He actually helped us choose the right car for us from stock that we weren't aware of. Due to WHATEVER, we weren't eligible for the interest rate that I had based my calculations on, so we were EXTREMELY disappointed at the final figures on the ONE car my husband truly desired. We began perusing the less expensive models and found 1 or 2 that seemed fine but Bryan found us one that was a bit better than the CUTE Khaki Pear Jeep Liberty...Michelle was fun. We have given this review because we bought a truck that has spent more time in the shop then it has been with us. Every time we get it back there is still something wrong with it. Thus far we have had no luck talking with anyone who works at richart. Everyone who we have talked to has been worthless and not helpful. When we get the truck back there is something wrong not related to what it was in the shop for in the first place. Richart at this point leaves a bad taste in our mouth. More

Rick Johnson was great to work w/ both over the phone and when we came in to look at cars. He walked the lot w/ us and helped us find a few vehicles to test drive. My husband and I started at the Used Car lot last week working with Tim. That experience alone almost made us walk away from buying anything from Ricart. If it was not for the friendly phone call, a follo working with Tim. That experience alone almost made us walk away from buying anything from Ricart. If it was not for the friendly phone call, a follow-up call, and a meeting scheduled with Marilee, we would have never been back to Ricart or recommended this dealership to anyone. We arranged an appointment with Marilee who told us immediately she was willing to work with us, and tell us what we could do for us, not what she couldn't. She had a great attitude and really made us feel like we mattered. She made us feel like she wanted to help us get what we wanted, and what made us comfortable. She was not pushy and but only offerred us what we she could based off of what we told her we wanted. She was to-the-point, not waisting our time, and we appreciated this tremendously. Marilee's customer service is impectable and top notch; we would recommend her not only to family and friends, but to anyone considering Ricart. The selection and process to close the deal was seemless, fast and again to the point. We enjoyed working with Marilee and hope to do so in the future. P.S. as for Tim, if he treats all customers like he treated us; you are losing business!! A bad experience is ten times worse then a good experience when it comes to word of mouth. Had it not been for Marilee, we would have told at least ten, if not more, of the terrible experience with Tim. I would recommend 100% you take this individual seriously within the organization.
