Went in for a transmission problem,I waited two weeks to get in the service department sent someone out to drive the car and said it was normal.I was in charge of a fleet of over 150 vehicles for 35 years a get in the service department sent someone out to drive the car and said it was normal.I was in charge of a fleet of over 150 vehicles for 35 years and I know that there is a problem with the transmission.In two week’s I will be going back to Michigan and hope no problems on the way.Very disappointment in the way your dealership handled it,at the least you should of sent out the transmission person.The service writer was very good but she could do just so much. This dealership is the worst dealership for customer service, not test driving cars before calling the customer, deceitful business practices and a manager who has no public relations training. He was arrogant and rude with no apologies for the headaches, time and wrongdoing done to me. My car failed immediately and the part was defective after I paid my bill and drove away. I didn’t even get on the highway and message came up same again . He then said he would put another part in. Upon arriving for pickup I was presented with another bill charging me the same price. I said I was never told this and the part was a replacement for the original part. He didn’t charge me after another argument I forced him to give me a 90 day warranty. They fixed it , once again, and upon pickup the dash board said “convertible top was insecure” which is same problem not fixed. I didn’t make it down the road , once again, and the next part was broken. I drove it home because the part was a sensor for the convertible top not being secured; not mechanics of car. I received a lecture from the manager that if it happens again it is on me. The next time I picked car up it I saw sensor light on again as they pulled car up to give to me. I never even left the parking lot! Then after a while I received a call that it was the amplifier wiring hitting the sensor which was faulty and undetected by their equipment. He then said new wiring would be new charge of $1500. I couldn’t believe this but the only settlement was deducting my original payment and paying over $600.00 more after a heated argument. One week later my car was ready again. I asked my service advisor to make sure I still had a warranty and he guaranteed me I did verbally. Upon arrival he apologized and said there was no warranty at all. I was taken into the manager’s office whereby he refused to honor the warranty. He then said he would honor original warranty which was unfair as one month and 1/2 was elapsed on warranty while waiting for it to be fixed. We argued about this and I said I wasn’t leaving until he gave me a full warranty like original one. He said, absolutely not and didn’t care talking rudely to me. This was verbally abuse to me as a woman. A man would never have been spoken to the way he did to me. I expressed to him I was going to give bad reviews on all social media and out of his own mouth he said, “go ahead and I am not worried about it nor honoring a full warranty on the additional part.” I now have a total of $1500 and change in a car that is not guaranteed to be fixed properly. This is no way to treat a customer. I ask anyone thinking of buying a Chevrolet to stay away from this dealership. They should be shut down as no customer should ever go through what I experienced, This is despicable and disgusting business practices after the parts totally failed. They should never be in the used parts business as all customers expect satisfactory service and a running car after pickup. I hope the owner of Rick Hendrick Chevrolet reads this as the manager should be fired. The same review will be put on all social media as this has been a nightmare. I hope no one who owns a Corvette ever patronizes there or anyone else as this is the worst I have ever been treated. More
