2021 Tahoe-36000 miles Was not happy with last service. Had an issue with air bag sensor in drivers seat not covered under warranty. Was told warranty started on manufacturer date not purchase date. Repair Had an issue with air bag sensor in drivers seat not covered under warranty. Was told warranty started on manufacturer date not purchase date. Repair cost-$1,850.00 After strongly protesting that it was warranty the service manager found out I had purchased an extended warranty from the dealer the truck was purchased from. After 3 days they couldn’t confirm if this repair was covered. A clock spring sensor and pigtail needed to be replaced but it was on global back order with no estimate on availability. Dealer would only order parts if pre paid in full. I refused the service and requested my vehicle back. Upon arrival at home I noticed the back of the seat was unzipped and open. After inspection myself I found the pigtail was not plugged into the sensor and when plugged in would not stay The plug had an ear missing so I ordered a new original pigtail online for 13.00 plus shipping When plugging this pig tail in it would not stay in. Upon further investigation I found that 2 zip ties and electrical tape was used to hold the plug into the sensor and was probably done at the factory due to the technician not reassembling the seat I used the old pigtail and the zip ties to hold it together and resolved the issue myself. Was charged $299.00 to troubleshoot the air bag light. Not sure if I should be upset at the dealer or the manufacturer or both Parents and siblings worked for GM and have personally been loyal GM customer for 40+ years and have purchased at least 60 vehicles in that timeframe including my business More
First time to the dealership to learn about the new C8 corvette. Asked dealership to walk me through the C8, and was handed off to a salesman. Didn’t learn much about the car, but learned a lot about th corvette. Asked dealership to walk me through the C8, and was handed off to a salesman. Didn’t learn much about the car, but learned a lot about their sales practice of taking your keys and evaluating my car for trade on a new C8. I asked several times for them for the evaluation and price for my car along with the GMS price on the car we test drove and was never given an answer. After 90 minutes of their shuffle game, I had enough and asked for my keys back. The salesman would not get my keys. He kept going back and forth to their fish bowl office three more times for another 20 minutes. Still no answers and no keys to my C6 427 corvette. Didn’t learn much about the new C8 and experienced them trying to hold me hostage until I committed to buy or build a new C8. Don’t. Come here unless you like this sales program. Terrible. More
