We take careful consideration of what the manufacturer recommends as well as the amount and type of mileage we’re putting on our vehicle. Perfect example, when our car only had about 15,000 miles on it, the team was already trying to get us to purchase new tires. We got 25,000 miles out of those tires before they had to be replaced. Some people don’t think about what they really need any trust the service advisors to make appropriate recommendations. I would argue that the service team should do their best to consider the customer’s actual needs and not just recommend what they have on some checklist based on mileage of the vehicle. More
