It was like outer body experience,after every purchase is made, the entire salesman staff cheer the purchaser and salesman on. Never seen anything close to it before. I scheduled an appointment and needed an oil change, my brakes looked and had a DTC error code P0128. I dropped my car off on a Monday, did not receive a call about the assessment until the following Thur brakes looked and had a DTC error code P0128. I dropped my car off on a Monday, did not receive a call about the assessment until the following Thursday morning. I was quoted a price that I know was too high which was $337.00 for the work. However I felt since they have had my vehicle since Monday and I would have to pay the diagnostic fee even though I told the rep what the DTC code was if I didn’t let you guys do the work I reluctantly asked the rep to move proceed with the work.. I feel like I shouldn’t have to pay a fee when I know what the code was and told him before he simply plugged in the iPad to see the error. Well upon arrival to pick my car up I was then given a entirely different total. He told me I owed somewhere around $476.00. That is a huge difference in price. After me telling the rep that that is not what I was told 24 ago a couple of times I asked him to go over the charges. I was adamant that I’m not paying that because that isn’t what I agreed to pay. He then informs me that calls are recorded (thank God for that) and went to listen to the call. He comes back and tells me the quote I told him he gave was correct. He then retypes a new receipt. My question is how often do you guys do this to women. I felt totally taken advantage of and am glad the call was recorded because I have no idea how escalated this would have gone. I am never taking my car back to this dealership again. I am totally disappointed and dissatisfied with my visit to this location. And I will also be leaving a review of my visit on google and yelp. More
I had the worst auto experience of my life, while in for service. Had an appointment for service on Monday, November 25. Dealer kept my car until December 24. I gave up on Rick Hendrick and sold car to CarMax. More
We had a very pleasant experience working with Brady. I had purchased a diesel Dodge Ram from CarMax. After owning it for about a month, my engine seized, and how to be replaced. Because it was covered under the powertrain warranty, CarMax had to send it to owning it for about a month, my engine seized, and how to be replaced. Because it was covered under the powertrain warranty, CarMax had to send it to Rick Hendricks. When it arrived, Rick Hendrick said repairs would take about a week, but wouldn’t need and engine replacement.. When the week came and went, Rick Hendricks called CarMax to let me know it would be a bit longer, but would be done in a couple of days. Giving them a couple of days, Rick Hendricks called CarMax to let me know they needed more time for repairs, because I needed a new engine, but would be done by the end of the week. Of course, at the end of the week, my truck was not fixed, but told the mechanic working on my truck was in the hospital, and they did not have another diesel mechanic available at that time, but would get one on the job soon. Again, I was promised it would be finished in a few days. Again, Rick Hendricks did not deliver, and said they needed more time.. Rick Hendricks told me my truck would be fixed by the end of the week. again, it was not fixed stating they were having a hard time separating my engine from my transmission. I was told it would be ready on Tuesday of the next week. When Tuesday arrived, I was told my mechanic had to go to class in Atlanta that day and the next day. They did apologize, and promised to have it fixed by the end of the week. Finally at the one of the week, and having my truck for over a month, I was told my truck was ready for me to pick up. As I was going on a trip the next day, I was excited to get me truck back. On my way out town, my truck’s exhaust system goes out, and I had to take it back to be fixed, which took a week to fix. Long story short, I feel as though Rick Hendricks was not honest through the entire process. When I got my truck back, I received an receipt for all the repairs. On the receipt, it stated that a majority of the time my truck was in the shop they were waiting on a back ordered crate engine, yet I never told that. Instead, I got given anything from more time to my mechanic was in the hospital to my mechanic was in class. Secondly, the receipt stated they were also waiting on a specialty tool to remove my engine from the transmission. Again, al I was told was that they were having trouble separating my engine from my transmission. Had I been told the truth from the beginning, though I may not have been happy, I at least would have understood better the delay. Instead, I was left in the deck, with promises Rick Hendricks could not deliver on. More
