Service and Detailing - Execellent, Sales - The Worst The goal of the sales force of this dealership appears to be to make you wait in hopes you will give up on making them honor the promises they made du The goal of the sales force of this dealership appears to be to make you wait in hopes you will give up on making them honor the promises they made during the sale. It took them four visits and three loaner cars for them to finally complete the short list of items they promised to secure the sale. Had the car not had an excellent history report we would have asked for our money back and gone elsewhere. I really don’t believe the fault lies with the service or detailing department (like Rich tried to blame) but with the sales people not doing what they promised. Three things were supposed to be done, windshield REPLACED, bumper and quarter panel fixed, and the car detailed. Rather than replace the windshield as promised, Rich had them try and repair it. Which was unacceptable as a replacement of the windshield was one of our conditions of the sale. Quarter panel and bumper took three tries to get it acceptable (still didn’t do the job as promised, but good enough that it is not worth pursuing any more). Not sure who did the work because when I talked to the service department they had no record if ever doing work on my car. Rich actually got upset with me when I told him I had scheduled an appointment with the service department, he snapped they’re not the ones doing the work. And still after the last service visit the car had still not been detailed as promised. That required another visit on Tuesday Feb 19th. And when I got the car back it confirmed my suspicion that they had never seen the. At before that day. I can’t say enough about the excellent job they did. Clearly everyone who told us the car had been detailed before Tuesday was lying! Overall they had the car for over nine days on four different visits with a total of three loaner cars. On two different occasions Rich scheduled me to con in at 9:30 am knowing he would in meetings until at least 10:30 am - very unprofessional. So would I ever buy a car or recommend Rick Hendrick again? If I only had to deal with the service department and the detailing crew then sure I would, but if I had to deal with Rich, Ariel, Felipe, or Chauncey again - not on your life! Worst car buying experience EVER! More
