I purchased a car on Feb 27th. An emissions inspection had never been performed which I found out when I could not extend the temp tag that expired April 13. I called the dealership said bring it in and they would do the emissions test and extend the tag. I brought my car in for service appointment on April 8th. I only got 1 of my 2 key fabs back when I picked up my car on May 8th. The tag was expired when I picked it up. It still said April 13th. I was told by the service dept they would contact me the next day about my missing key fab & the tag. It is May 16th and the temp tag on the vehicle I purchased has not been extended & the paperwork to register it has not been submitted. I’ve never heard from the service dept on the key fab either and still don’t have it. Additionally it took two weeks to hear my car was ready to pick up & two more weeks to find out that brakes and transmission were inspected. I asked multiple times whether they were inspected and was told during a test drive no issue was found with either. I could not get an answer as to whether anyone inspected them or not until Darryl finally confirmed. Once he did I came and got my car. I didn’t have it for a month trying to ask about the brakes & transmission. I still can’t drive it bc the tag is expired. I asked multiple times if the paperwork for the tag on the car I bought on Feb 27th had been submitted. It is May 16th and I still don’t have a tag. I was told it had to do with the dealership not having the title on the car I traded in but when I called the tag office they said one had not to do with the other. They told me what was needed to register a car for a tag and it didn’t include the title to my previous vehicle. I had the new car inspected by another mechanic after I got it back from the service dept. I was told it needed to be realigned which is something I would’ve expected someone to notice when inspecting it before I picked it up. I still need to get my key fab back or have it replaced & still need the registration paperwork submitted for the car I bought. This situation has been a mess. More
