Poor Salesmanship My son-in-law and I were very disappointed in the salesman, Jake, with the service we received. We drove over from Springfield (120 mile round trip) My son-in-law and I were very disappointed in the salesman, Jake, with the service we received. We drove over from Springfield (120 mile round trip) to see three cars, which were discussed on the Friday prior to Christmas. We called on the way to confirm the cars were still available and confirm their options. Jake remembered the cars and check on options for one of them, confirming it had the option. Upon arrival we were informed all three were unavailable: 2 sold in the morning and 1 was at another shop for warranty work. Then he attempted to sell us another vehicle, with the options we were looking for, which was some $6,000 higher or a lesser model, on which we could add the option for $1,000. Won't be going back. More

Not impressed at all First off, bad on us for going through with the purchase. Drove nearly 200 miles to look at a car they had. They were essentially unwilling to deal on the car price or trade-in value. And when negotiations got to the point they wouldn't budge on either end, we should have simply walked out, as there were other cars at other dealers on our list to check out. I've been fooling around with cars since I was 14 (that's over 50 years), have bought and sold too many to count, and have even sold cars and been a sales manager at a new car dealership. I think the salesman was simply operating within the dealership practices and guidelines, so I don't imagine our experince would have been better with any other salesperson. As we were leaving, I overheard the same lame excuses from other salesperson cubicles on inability to negotiate and low trade values that we had heard. Another issue is that the car we bought is a Kia (a used 2018). The salesman agreed that on the test drive there was a bothersome vibration in the steering wheel when braking. We're trying to get it into our local Kia dealership here without success, so we called Ridings. They said wait a couple weeks, maybe it's rust on the rotors and maybe it'll get better. I wish we had a better experience, but given what we did experience, I would recommend avoiding this dealer. Overall an unsatisfactory experience, and I can't recommend them. More

I had a slew of issues that was out of the dealerships control and they went above and beyond to make I can't speak highly enough of this dealership.
