Scammed, these people try to hurt you I was taken when I decided to make a transaction with Right Toyota. Even after working with them, they decided to take advantage of me, which is why I was taken when I decided to make a transaction with Right Toyota. Even after working with them, they decided to take advantage of me, which is why I never saw it coming. i had a relationship with this dealership and they xxxxed me. I bought a truck with a 47000 sticker price. I later looked at the paperwork to find they charged me more than 60000 for the truck..... I went to trade it in after a 20000 dollar down payment and 11 months of 700 dollar payments to find that I have ZERO equity in the vehicle. They then ripped me off by taking any money I had in warranties. This dealership is out to get you and they got me. Dont be fooled. Bring a lawyer with you if you want to buy from here. They cost me over 30 grand and I got NOTHING out of it. Even after putting 5000+ into upgrades, they gave me nothing for the vehicle. This place, the owners, the staff, everyone associated with them should be ashamed. More
A very mixed relationship with this dealership I have very mixed feelings about this dealership. The service department has been great for me and has always been very timely. The issue I have here I have very mixed feelings about this dealership. The service department has been great for me and has always been very timely. The issue I have here is the parts counter. The two men in the back parts counter are incredibly rude and talked down on me for asking questions about a part for my truck. I was ready to make a $300+ purchase in a couple accessories but instead I will he taking my money to another dealership. The sales staff is good, very easy to work with. Only downfall of this dealership is the parts counter men. They are making the dealership lose easy money. Sad to see for such a nice place. More

Jesse made my wife and I extremely comfortable from our first phone conversation and then meeting him a short time later. He gave us superb service in every way and his natural, easy, relaxed style with NO high pressure was a perfect experience for us. We live in Sedona and have been looking for the perfect pre-owned truck for a number of months. Jesse helped us find the perfect truck and helped us close the deal. I will recommend Jesse and Right Toyota to people we know. We are very impressed with your organization and really appreciate the Superb Service by all of your staff. Purchase experience and customer service fail Let's start with the buying experience. I utilized their online "Express Checkout" buyers tool because I didn't want to deal with the drama of buying Let's start with the buying experience. I utilized their online "Express Checkout" buyers tool because I didn't want to deal with the drama of buying a new vehicle. My wife had picked out what she wanted so I went through their checkout process. I picked the vehicle (it was available), accepted their trade-in allowance, agreed on a down payment, picked the lease payment and the lease mileage, reviewed the order, and submitted it. I received an email from a salesman and scheduled a time to come in the next day to complete the transaction. Sounds too easy right?! Yep! Sounded great until I got there. I met with the salesman and we test drove the exact vehicle I picked, he took a quick look at my trade, and we went inside to do the paperwork. Now comes the fun part. The salesman had no idea I had used their Express Checkout so I started the process from scratch. The vehicle price, trade-in allowance, and lease terms were not what I accepted in my original checkout process. They lowballed my trade and told me the lease terms I wanted didn't exist, yet they were available on their website. At this point I'm irritated and explained to the salesman the process I went through on their website to avoid this mess. I put together a deal and now the deal had completely changed and no one had a clue on how their own sales tool worked. I decided to leave at this point but was met at my car and asked to come back and they'd make the deal right. I agreed and gave them another chance. Round two. They drew up the contract and I went in to sign. The finance guy hands me the terms and they were wrong. The down payment and payment wasn't what we agreed upon. Here we go again! That's it! I had enough and walked out! This time I'm met at my car by the Sales Manager. He apologized and said they had just rolled out the Express Checkout option and sales was not up to speed on it yet. He told me he would honor all of my original terms and we shook on it. Round three. We get that straightened out and I take a look at the lease terms and that's not what we agreed on. Now I'm vested in this process and I'm just trying to hold myself together. The finance guy goes for help and they finally get the terms right (the ones they offer on their website) and we finish the deal. This isn't over yet.... The next day I'm looking at the window sticker and noticed an option ($650 for running boards) that was part of the purchase price, that hadn't been installed on the vehicle. I emailed my salesman with a picture of the window sticker and a picture of the vehicle I leased and asked him to advise me on what my options are? Here's his response: Salesman - "Hey Steve. I was off yesterday and just saw this. Let me advise this right away. That's very interesting." Me - "Here's the pic I took after we test drove it. It's interesting, now what do we do about it?" Salesman - "I'll make sure we get them on for you. Let me talk to service." Me - "I'm really not interested in wasting my day having steps installed that I wouldn't have wanted even if they were on there in the first place. What are the other options?" Salesman - "I will get you the side steps. I can make sure it won't waste your day. Or I can just give them to you and you can do what you want with them." Salesman - "Did you have any suggestions? I'm definitely here to help you. I understand your situation. Let me know." Me - "Can I substitute if for something that will be of use to me? I guess you guys need to tell me what you're willing to do to make me whole." It's been 8 days now and I have not received a response to my last email. If that's how Right Toyota is "definitely here to help" then good luck to any of you who wants to make a purchase or lease a vehicle from this dealer. I hope this is an isolated incident but I definitely won't help them get anymore of my business or any business from anyone I know. More
Tricked and wasted my time Expressed interest online that I was interested in a ‘18 charger scat pack. Gave them my contact info and spoke to a sales rep about the car. We agree Expressed interest online that I was interested in a ‘18 charger scat pack. Gave them my contact info and spoke to a sales rep about the car. We agreed I would meet him at 1 the next day to check it out. He also said he would hold it for me. I texted him that morning when I would be arriving. I drove 45 min from gilbert to get there. I shop up at 1:05 to meet with my sales rep Farhan Khan. I waited for 20 min waiting for him before deciding to just speak to another rep. I met with a guy named Kyle who was really nice and helpful. He drove me around the entire lot looking for the car. We couldn’t find it so Kyle went inside to ask where Farhan put the car on hold. Kyle comes back outside to tell me they sold the car last night. Furious by how this whole process was handled I filed a complaint through right Toyota and they even told me on the phone that this practice is known as “humming” where they bring you to the dealership knowing that car isn’t available. Blown away by their disgusting customer service especially by Farhan, I hope he's punished appropriately. I wasted 2.5hrs on my day off with this xxxxxxxx. This saddens me even more as a Tacoma owner!! More

I am now doing everything I can to let people know about this place. My friend also had a similar situation with these people. -- I took my leased toyota in to see if there was a way for me to get into a better financial position as I explained to the staff. I had the toyota for about 6 months. I explained to whoever that my father passed away and I got some money from a life insurance policy and that I wanted to possibly get into a better position financially. Every single staff member that I talked to and that approached me was well informed that my father and mother had died and I had received a life insurance policy from my dad. I told only 2 people about the situation, yet 5 or more knew about it. By the end of my visit, I was feeling weird that they kept going on and on about my parents and I now believe they intentionally took advantage of me when I was in this emotional state. The sales manager told me that if I traded in the leased Tacoma, it would be "a wash," and I could buy another vehicle at no extra cost. "Win-win," he said. When I found a vehicle I liked, I asked them to give me the price. The sales managers response was, "dont worry, we've taken care of you." As I was in extreme emotional distress, the detail passed by. When I was in finance receiving a "disclosure" of the document and numbers, the finance manager told me that the top number "48,xxx" was my "total purchase price!" When in fact it was my total amount financed. He used his forefingers on each hand - One of his fingers blocked out the line's text while the other pointed at the number the was "disclosing." He did not disclose this number to me as amount financed. Who in their right mind would agree to pay almost 20,000 OVER sticker? Nobody. They intentionally messed with the numbers so that it they could explain it this way and steal 20000 dollars from me. After the transaction was completed, I decided to look at my paperwork and noticed that it looked like I was paying way more than I thought. I immediately called the dealership and the finance manager lied to me, saying that the extra amount was finance charge and would not be charged to me as long as I paid the loan off early. His misrepresentation and false disclosure gave me false confidence - for this reason alone is why I did not know about how badly I was swindled by right Toyota and their staff until almost a year later. When this time came, I was looking at trading in the tacoma. I decided to check how much equity I had in the vehicle. After paying over 30000 for a 47000 sticker price vehicle, I thought I would have some equity at very least. I was SHOCKED to find that I owed more on the truck than it was worth (after paying over 30000 into it). I called the dealership multiple times asking finance to get back to me. They never did. They obviously knew they had ran out the 1 year mark and celebrated their victory of screwing an innocent person out of 20000+. I tore my hair out for weeks trying to figure out what to do. I finally decided to contact a lawyer. After discussing my options, I couldn't afford to proceed with a lawsuit. I tried again to reason with the dealership. After hours I finally told the general sales manager that I would be willing to go to arbitration. He left and immediately came back with an offer to buy the vehicle back from me. At no point was I satisfied with this transaction. I only took this offer because it was the only way to get out of my tremendous debt to the vehicle. Nobody would be satisfied paying 30000 to drive a tacoma for less than a year. The "turning in" of my truck was direct expression of disapproval of the transaction. Why would I turn the truck in if I was satisfied with it? It wasnt something I couldn't afford, it was something that did not make any sense to be paying into. 30,000 on a 47,000 truck and I somehow had zero equity. That doesn't make any sense, hence my disapproval. My disapproval also shows by the numerous voicemails, emails, and calls to the dealership and staff (GM included) stating that I was taken advantage of. In no way did I express satisfaction or approval of this transaction. When I sold my house, I contacted the lawyer again to see if it was possible to move forward after the vehicle has been sold back since I had now had the capital to move forward - filing claims based on the dealerships fraudulent and illegal activities and taking advantage of myself when under extreme emotional distress. I am now doing everything I can to let people know about the way this place handles business. More
