I reviewed your file, and just for clarification, the service you received was a service package that our computer tracks to ensure you're up to date with your service. What you received with this package is an oil and oil filter change, rotation as needed, and the AC Delco fuel system cleaning service. Please keep in mind the 2024 Silverado 1500 takes 8 quarts of full synthetic oil, specifically SAE 0W20 Dexos 1 API SP. You can get your vehicle serviced at any service station, but ensure you save all your receipts stating the actual oil. In case you develop a powertrain concern, because GM will not see your oil change records in our system, and will request copies from you prior to approving any repairs. They will check for the proper oil and quantity installed in the vehicle, along with the time frame. You can always go online to www.myriversidechevy.com, go to service center, and scroll to the bottom for any coupons for just an oil change only. This month, the 8-quart GM OE Decos 1 full synthetic is $109.95. You will have to sign a disclaimer if the computer states that more than the oil change is due and that you were advised and declined.
