Bait and Switch Tactics I have been using Riverside Honda for all of my Accord service maintenance for several years now because I found their service dept didn't try to upse I have been using Riverside Honda for all of my Accord service maintenance for several years now because I found their service dept didn't try to upsell unnecessary repair unlike other dealers I've used. I love my Hondas having owned 5 in the last 20 years so of course when I started looking for a new small SUV I contacted Honda for quotes. I received several quotes from my local Honda Dealers on a 2017 CRV. Riverside Honda quoted me a great price for a CRV 2017. The price was so good I assumed the offer was for a pre-owned CRV asked the associate, The Internet Manager, what the mileage was. He replied no it was definitely a valid offer on a New CRV. So, of course I went in to start the purchase process. When we say down to talk money and I reminded the Rep of his offer he basically said, "oops, my bad. We can't sell it for that but we can do this." And I got the same from the sales mgr. I believe at least the Rep used "Click Bait" tactics. Using bait and switch to get me into the dealership to make a sale. This is false advertising and dishonest. They have now lost a customer for all of their services. And a bad review all over the internet! More
