Some of the most unprofessional staff I've ever dealt with Learned about this dealership online and, based on what seemed to be good prices, decided to drive 40 miles from Palm Beach to check the place out. Up Learned about this dealership online and, based on what seemed to be good prices, decided to drive 40 miles from Palm Beach to check the place out. Upon arrival my wife and I began to look around the lot and surprisingly we were never approached by any salesmen. Finally I went inside their showroom and asked a salesman for help. We were then directed to "Jim" who was eating a bag of potato chips and drinking a Coke while sitting on their "no bull" statue out front. From the get go Jim appeared bothered that he had to assist us and right away asked how much money we were paying a month for my wife's trade in. After telling him the price he immediately told us that the Durango we were inquiring about was out of our price range, not realizing what we were willing or able to pay. Once back looking at the Durangos I asked Jim to test drive one towhich he agreed to go get the keys. Jim returned a short time later with keys, however, he played the old, "oh sorry I grabbed the wrong ones, do you still want to test drive?", knowing full well we drove down from Palm Beach. Then he apologized and told us that he was sick and, "not feeing it today" before walking us back to the showroom. I was shocked at this guy's rude attitude and lack luster, judgemental approach at sales. I told my wife that we'd go to another dealership that wanted business at which time Jim decides to start arguing with me that we were wasting his time. I was obviously upset to the point that I seeked out a group of managers who, after telling them how we were treated, seemed like they could care less. I can't believe Dodge allows these small time clowns to sell and represent their product. Needless to say they pointed us in the direction of Ford. Don't waste your time with these people, go to Arrigo or seek another brand. More

We went home to get the trade in which was 65 miles away and when got back they refused to give us the deal we spoke about 5 hours earlier that day. They did not listen to what we wanted and it was so one sided to their benefit. I would never recommend these liars and sharks to anyone. Worst dealetship.we visited. More
Ray Lugo abused my trust If you hear the name Ray Lugo from University Dodge it is my recommendation you walk in the other direction. This guy lied to me about what the price If you hear the name Ray Lugo from University Dodge it is my recommendation you walk in the other direction. This guy lied to me about what the price of car was over the phone to get me in the door and then recklessly drove my car when "test driveing" it for trade, putting not only me but others in my opinion at risk while on a public road. I literally had to yell at him to stop the car. This Ray Lugo is the worst salesman I've ever worked with in my life. The disturbing part about this is when I complained about what Ray Lugo did to management I was told by George the sales manager it was normal practice they push cars to their limits when test driving them. Beware!!!!! More
Bait and Switch? - You decide. Read before going there My experience started a few days ago when I requested more information on a 2011 truck I was looking at to get for my son. Ater trading a few emails My experience started a few days ago when I requested more information on a 2011 truck I was looking at to get for my son. Ater trading a few emails with Javier Govea, I made an offer on the truck which he responded in an email and accepted the offer. I inserted the response from Mr. Govea for you to read. The only thing left to do now was to go down, test drive the truck, and then pay for it. My offer, which was in an email also, specifically stated I was making an offer online because I did not want to come down there to haggle. I was very clear. So my wife, my son and I drive an hour to go to the dealership and when we get there, Mr. Lou Domenech tells me he can't honor the deal I made with Mr Govea.....who they could not reach because he had a family emergency. I truly hope he didn't but it did seem convenient that he couldn't be reached. Mr. Domenech did mention that there were other vehicles he could show us but he couldn't sell us the one we negotiated for, for the price we agreed on. He said I should have asked for some sort of contract. Needless to say I was very upset. My son was super excited to finally get his truck and was really broken. I think it hurt me more since I feel like I failed him. What was supposed to be a simple test drive and vehicle purchase turned out to be the most horrible experience I've every had. I stated the facts here for you to make your own conclusion on what happened and for you to decide if this is a company you want to deal with. I sent the GM an email to see if this is a deal we can salvage since my son really liked the truck and is really broken right now. I'll modify my experience if they do right and honor their agreement but I'm not expecting them to do so.. From: Javier Govea I showed these numbers to my sales mananger & this is a reasonable offer & would like to meet with you also for you to come test drive the vehicle. There will be no haggle he wants to move the vehicle. Saturday will be a great day to view & drive the vehicle. We would just like to make sure this is the one you want. They do not believe that a customer time is important, and not really in the mood to answer any questions/concerns without you adding some effort. I had to reach to this dealership several times in order to get an answer. The management also are under the impression that the price they dictate are the prices you should buy. NO NEGOTIATION..... After reading the reviews, I defiantly do not even want to do business with them regardless of anything they offer More
Horrific Experience University Dodge without a doubt is the absolute worst dealer out there. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there to buy a car. They take bait & switch to University Dodge without a doubt is the absolute worst dealer out there. I wouldn't send my worst enemy there to buy a car. They take bait & switch to a whole new level. After a week of back forth because their lack of customer service. I show up to work out a deal but the car has magically disappeared from the lot. The dealership didn't notice it missing and tells me it must of have been stolen. They offer me a like vehicle but it has 4000 miles on it. But my payment would increase from $398 to $465 on that demo vehicle. Things weren't adding up. So while they "worked on the numbers" I checked the Vin # on the "like vehicle" and it was the original vehicle I wanted. Only less the rims and with 4000 miles on it. At this point I had enough and walked out without a word from anybody there. No interest in purchasing a Dodge anymore. More
Service center nightmare For one year I have been getting my truck serviced here. Not by choice! When I bought the truck from them they signed me up for the wrong warranty. In For one year I have been getting my truck serviced here. Not by choice! When I bought the truck from them they signed me up for the wrong warranty. In the beginning I figured since I purchased the vehicle here maybe I will have it serviced here. so far in one year $18,500 in repairs. In the first month of having the vehicle the a/c went out, brakes, EGR valve and 2 turbos. I allowed them to perform warranty work. When the part breaks, that dealership that installed the new part has to work on it, and so begins my nightmare of being forced to deal with this joke of a service center. Their work is amateur at best. Their customer service is atrocious and their promises of time when you car will be ready is as far off as you can get. When the parts they originally installed quit breaking I will gladly hurry to be serviced elsewhere. Please listen to these reviews do not get sucked into this inadequate dealerships grips you may never escape. More

My worst nightmare Took my car here for a recall. Timing chain on a Dodge Challenger. don't even get me started on the complete lack of communication at this place. Long Took my car here for a recall. Timing chain on a Dodge Challenger. don't even get me started on the complete lack of communication at this place. Long story made short, I was financially xxxxx because I trusted them and felt trapped. The care was misfiring which is what prompted the call. They refused to perform the recall claiming they could not because the car had trouble. Had to pay for a $99 diagnostic. Kept my car for three days with absolutely no word. Finally after multiple calls I was given the first of 3 nonsense explanations before I was bought in and told I had internal problems and needed to pay $500 dollars to rip my engine apart to find out. I asked if these problems could be because of the timing issue and was told there was no way to know without paying for the breakdown. I said I just wanted the recall done and was told again they refused. $500 dollars and again miscommunications later it was the cam shaft, lifted and piston ring. "How could this happen? Could this be because of the timing chain?" I inquire. And I was told no and given explanations I couldn't understand. $3000. I had taken a friend with me. A newbie mechanic in hopes that between she and I we could gain some clarity. In the end she didn't know what to tell me besides it would cost me to have them reassemble, to have the car towed to another place, then I would still have to come back to dodge for the recall. The service advisor seemed nice and sincere but I had to make the call. Come to find out after talking with another mechanic after getting my car back that the timing chain could have caused all of these damages and it should have been covered under the warranty. This helpful mechanic showed me how to check online and showed me the dealer level recall which included step by step instructions on the repair and would have put them right next to the cam shaft (why did I pay $500 for a breakdown)? He also showed me forums as well as an article in Hot Rod Magazine that notes damage can occur to Pistons and valves due to the defect. By the time he was done he proved that the timing chain most likely caused these damages. There was no way for them to prove another wise. I had been swindled and felt stupid. I am a teacher. I bought this car as a way to feel closer to my dad and brother who both loved muscle cars and have since passed away. All I ever wanted to do was pay it off and begin to learn more about cars and maybe modify it a bit. That was before I became sick. I have a genetic disorder. I can no longer teach full time. Im sick a lot. I'm drowning in debt. I had to call on my 80 year old grandmother who takes care of my blind, diabetic, dementia riddles grandfather and lives on fixed income to max out her credit card for help. I finally paid off the car in February. With the money I saved I hoped to be able to pay off my mounting medical bills and get back on my feet. Now I'm $3000 in debt again with a job that's ending in June and a strong possibility I will not be rehired the following school year because of my illness. I feel so stupid for trusting this place. DONT GO HERE! They act like they are trying to help. They take advantage of your ignorance. And once your car is broken apart what choice to you have but to let them fix it? Don't get swindled as I did. More

I call him back and we go over line by line. we end the call with me saying I am not doing business with any of the other 3 dealerships that i have been speaking to and i will be down tomorrow to sign and take delivery. He then calls me at 9:30 am as i am preparing to come down there and says he will not honor the WRITTEN OFFER that he provided to me just last night as it was an error. "you are going to have to pay a couple of grand more. Its just business" He has me on speaker not letting me get a word in than hangs up. I found five state and federal agencies that i believe would be interested in our written correspondence....Office of financial regulation flofr.com...dept of consumer affairs... attorney general of florida..stateofflorida.com..US small business admin.
