My salesman Levi was nice enough, as a person, and the financing process was a breeze. When I went to pick my car up to drive it home, we noticed several scratches on the brand new car and the outside w financing process was a breeze. When I went to pick my car up to drive it home, we noticed several scratches on the brand new car and the outside wash detail wasn't the greatest. The vehicle is black so it was very noticeable. I was assured that it wasn't a big deal and that it would be taken care of next week when the body tech came in. I was also given a "we owe" statement from the dealership. It is now over a month later and I have yet to see the body tech and I still have scratches. I made another attempt for an appointment last week to get the scratches fixed and to my surprise, my dealer was out of office, there was no body tech there; however, Paul was nice enough to try and get the issue corrected. Unfortunately, he was unable to get all the scratches taken care of but did resolve a few. He tried reaching a body guy to take care of it but to no avail. I wouldn't be surprised if it was the same body guy that I was told would be there that day. Now I have to call back and make other arrangements. I would really like for Brogden to make these scratches right so that I can go on about my business. It shouldn't be this hard. Why must I keep contacting them? I just want an appointment, I'll show up, get the scratches fixed, THE END and we can all live happily ever after. I almost forgot to mention the whole GM Family First discount for which I qualified for. GMC as a corporation should have a better process in place for obtaining the authorizations when an existing employee hasn't a need to utilize the program for years and their discount account has gone inactive. This process was a nightmare, we waited for weeks to get this information. All the while, the salesman practically called/texted me every other day for status on the discount information that I had no control over. We faxed all the required documentation (multiple times, multiple ways) to GMC to get the authorization code and for whatever reason they never received it on their end. Once the dealership finally received the discount information, my salesman went radio silence until we reached out again about the scratches. I'm not sure why Brogden doesn't have a body technician on staff when they are a dealership and that's the nature of the business. More
