I will say I have never felt less appreciated by a dealership. We have been long standing customers of another local dealership and the experience with Brogden so far, has me regretting my decision to dealership. Thankfully as I prepare to make another large vehicle purchase, I have been equipped with the knowledge not to offer that opportunity to Brogden again. This is the second time we have brought in a brand new purchase over the last year. Our GMC 2500 has less than 30k miles. We have learned that the tires and rims that were purchased on the truck were unsafe for hauling our trailers placing myself and my family in a very dangerous situation with a camper we asked specifically about towing. We also had glo-plugs go out ( diagnosed by myself) and when sharing with your department we had a long trip to Illinois, your technician told us that it would be fine until Monday. On the way home with my family in the truck hauling 4 head of livestock worth over $15,000 in -15 degree weather we learned that sound advice was not sound at all. Thankfully we were blessed with a bystander that helped us out of a very dangerous situation. After getting the truck in that following Monday- it took the department 2 days to tell me what I told you the issue was. Now today, I experienced a understandable part issue with the truck. A crack in the secondary antifreeze reservoir, after being told you would “make my experience better”; I was given a bill for more than $570+ dollars ( majority being labor for a 1 day turnaround job) with little to no recognition of our previous experiences. Your labor fees were over the top for the work that I could have had done just down the road from you at another dealership. I expressed my dissatisfaction in a respectful and professional way and the response was indifference at best. Seeing emails like below gives a great false impression around how much you value your customer base. I believe that the service after you buy is certainly far more indicative of the value you see in me as your customer. I truly hate crafting emails like this. I value good relationships and I try often to provide recognition of good customer service. Unfortunately I have experienced everything but, with this purchase. More
