Made a appointment to have factory warranty work in my truck made reservation for my day off 10 minutes after I dropped it off I got a call stating that they are not qualified to do warranty work so I did truck made reservation for my day off 10 minutes after I dropped it off I got a call stating that they are not qualified to do warranty work so I did not have to lose another day of work I asked them how much it would be for the work they said around $160 I said ok back in my truck I noticed the bill was actually over $400 and they charged my card over $400 I went back they said in 2 days the money would be back in my account and charged my card $203 it’s been over 40 days the$430.24 didn’t make it back in to my account i called them email them no one knows what happened to the money More

Worst Dealer Service Department EVER I called the Service Department and made an appointment to mount a couple of tires, do a front end alignment, and do the State inspection. I also tol I called the Service Department and made an appointment to mount a couple of tires, do a front end alignment, and do the State inspection. I also told them I would wait for the work to be done. I was given an appointment 10 days after I called and I was to be there at 9:00 AM. I got there at 8:45 AM and the truck was taken ito the service department. I had to go over everything I wanted done again as it appeared that no one wrote it down when I made the appointment. After about 45 minutes after the truck went in the facility the Jim [behind the counter] came out and told me they could not do the work that I had planned and made an appointment for becasue they were too busy, also they were not going to do the inspection. xxx DID I MAKE AN APPOINTMENT FOR? I remained calm and told them that I needed the inspection done as it was required before my return - The inspection was done an it just happenend to flunk and was provided with a Rejection sticker. I was told to bring the truck back in 8 days and I was given an appointment by the service person again and asked me to come earlier in the morning. I asked about the appointment and was told I was all set. The day before I was to return I called and was told that there was no appointmet in the books for myself of the truck. I WOULD NEVER RETURN TO THIS DEALER TO HAVE ANYTHING DONE. I purchased my truck there [NEW Sierra DENALI - $52K +] and every time I brought it in for service the service department wanted to put me in a loaner so they could have the truck to work on. I always had a bad feeling and I would NEVER leave my vehicle there as I can only imagine what new problems I may have deal with from them having access to the vehicle while I was not there WAITING FOR IT. SO FROM MY EXPERIENCE - THIS IS ONE SERVICE DEPARTMENT THAT EVERYONE SHOULD STAY THE xxxx AWAY FROM. LAST I HEARD THE CUSTOMER IS RIGHT AND THE SERVICE THAT HAS BEEN SCHEDULED SHOULD BE WRITTEN DOWN AND DONE. THE DEALERSHIP SERVICE DEPARTMENT SHOULD NOT BE TAKING ON WORK THAT PUTS ASIDE THE SCHEDULED WORK BY CUSTOMERS. Buying a new truck $72,000 was the worst buying experience Sales at Robertsons are great. I scheduled a oil change and recall for Thursday, I bring my truck in They tell me they have me down for Friday. God help me I have know patience this service department. Terrible service on repairs and recalls I own a 2010 Acadia which I bought from Robinson's GMC. There have been a number of recalls. I have brought my car in for scheduled repairs only to I own a 2010 Acadia which I bought from Robinson's GMC. There have been a number of recalls. I have brought my car in for scheduled repairs only to be told that the parts are not available. I now have a check engine light issue. I Goggled the code and learned that there were defective parts. GMC increased the Warranty on this item to 10 years and 120,000 miles. No one notified me. When I called the dealer to confirm and get it repaired, I was grumpily told to schedule an appointment and "we will see". I had to demand that he look it up first so I did not go to another appointment 25 minutes away just to be told whether my information was correct. I also received a notice on a liftgate recall which stated that it "may close unexpectedly, injuring you or your loved ones". I asked him about that. Again, his response was abrupt saying "that is all set" I had to ask 2 or 3 times. First he said it was all set on my car. When I told him it wasn't fixed he then said the notice was wrong and there is no issue. I have no confidence in him and will call GMC directly. More
