Immoral and unethical Whatever you do, please stay far away from this dealership. They are absolutely horrible. A year and a half ago, I bought a Jeep Renegade from them. Whatever you do, please stay far away from this dealership. They are absolutely horrible. A year and a half ago, I bought a Jeep Renegade from them. Within the first 2000 miles I started to have serious issues with the car - the RPM's would rev high but the car would not accelerate. When I brought the car in for service, the first repair they made was to replace the transmission. You do not replace a transmission on a brand new car with less than 2000 miles on it. If that is what needed to be done, the car should've been replaced. Replacing the transmission did not solve the problem. The RPM issue kept happening. Eventually I was told that it was a computer issue and the computer just needed an update. If that was the case, why were they so eager to replace the transmission? So they did the update, and the problem kept recurring. The bottom line is that they kept putting myself and my family back into a vehicle unsafe for the road. After the problem resurfacing multiple times, and their inability to properly diagnose and fix the problem, the car officially qualified as a lemon. Yet Chrysler refused to buy the car back, and Rockland Jeep refused to advocate on behalf of their loyal customer (the Renegade was the 2nd car I purchased form them). I needed to retain a lawyer and take them to arbitration. Still they refused to do the right thing. It was not until one day before the hearing that they finally agreed to take the car back and refund my money. Flash forward to this past week. On Saturday I brought my 2014 Jeep Patriot in to sell back to the dealer (they had contacted me a few times to purchase my vehicle). We settled on a price and I was told to come back in on Monday with the title and they would cut me a check. When I arrived on Monday afternoon, we began the paperwork. After almost an hour, they informed me that I needed a lien release letter. Why did they not tell me that I needed that on Saturday? Because the people there are incompetent!! Finally, I had to make the suggestion that we should call Wells Fargo and have them fax over the letter. These people buy back cars every day and they couldn't figure that out! They couldn't even figure out the right phone number to dial to call Wells Fargo. Once we were on hold, the saleswoman (Shannon) that was helping me told me that she was going to leave me with another saleswoman because she had other customers to help. What kind of customer service is that? You do not leave a customer that you are helping to assist other customers!!!! After almost an hour and a half, and this still not being resolved, I began to lose my patience. I demanded my keys and title back, and I told them that I would get the letter and be back on Tuesday. At this point, because I was a bit aggravated, the sales manager, Ed Vega, came over and told me to bring the letter in and "they would consider buying back my car". So after I patiently waited almost an hour and a half, the sales managers response to my frustration was to threaten me to nullify the deal that we had already agree to. When I showed him that I had signed paperwork that amounted to a legal contract, he basically shrugged his shoulders and walked away. I did go back on Tuesday and they did complete the buyback. They really had no choice since I had a signed contract, but the fact that they threatened me to cancel a deal (in which there was a signed contract) because I was frustrated by their incompetence shows that they are an unprofessional, immoral, and unethical dealership. I should add that because I had to return to them on Tuesday, I had to cancel my appointment for that afternoon, which caused me to lose out the non-refundable money that was spent. If you live in the Rockland County area, and are interested in buying or leasing a Jeep/Chrysler/Dodge/Ram, do yourself a huge favor and stay far away from here. Go to Ramsey, Goshen or Warwick for your car. I, for one, will never purchase another vehicle from Rockland Jeep!!!! More

A true Professional and he listens....He teamed me up with a TOP NOTCH Sales consultant Sam Burgos. Sam-went Above & Beyond to assist me with my car lease. Mr. Vega & Mr. Burgos made it happen and together with Mr. Mike LaPorta, 3 hours later I drove out yet another lease from this dealership. They are Rockland Chyrsler's Jeep Dealership DREAM TEAM. While in the dealership, another sales consultant Chrystal, assisted Mr. Burgos, allowed me to use her computer to retrieve documents, and in between, her follow up with her own clients and calls were professional, kind and informative. Her interactions with her clients, of which were not easy, were on point!! She along with Mr. Vega(who really turned things around for me) Mr. Burgos, Mr. Laporta are definitely THE FAB FOUR of the dealership....if you need a car.... run don't Walk to ask for one of these 4 More

They didn’t hold up there end of deal!!! This was my first lease and all other dealerships tried to get me to settle for something i wasn't exactly happy with. Rockland was great... AT FIRST This was my first lease and all other dealerships tried to get me to settle for something i wasn't exactly happy with. Rockland was great... AT FIRST!!!!! I felt comfortable and like they wanted me to get what i wanted. They agreed to pay all taxes and titling fees. THEN... they sent the check for taxes and titling and it was made out incorrectly. I called them from dmv and with a dmv employee as a witness they said if i paid out of pocket they would reimburse and overnight the check. Never did it!! Ive been fighting for weeks to get what was agreed to at time of purchase. The check they first sent was the correct amount wrighten out to wrong dmv. They tried to say they didnt agree to all taxes and sent a check for half the amount they originally sent and originally agreed to at time of purchase!!! SHADY!!! Spoken to multiple managers pleading my case. Eddie Vega agreed we were in the right and would call me monday with a check in the mail and never heard back from him has not responded to any messages. It’s over a month later and they have still have not settled up. We are now getting the run around from Chris Dooney for over 2 weeks. Very dissapointed!!! The vehicle is great the company horrible!! Hoping they make right, do what we shook hands and agreed to and send a check for the remaining moneys owed so i can feel better about my first time leasing a new car and add a happy ending to this review. More
Unskilled mechanics, Liars, No Respect Never go there! I have been complaining about a sound I am hearing from the front passenger side. They kept telling me that they don't hear it. After almost a year of bringing it back for this, I ask to go on a test drive and then the mechanic tells me"Oh yeah I hear that". So they kept the car for 3 days and told me it was fixed. I pick the car up around 5pm on a Saturday. Drove it home only to find that they did not fix it. Call and let them know and that I was bring the car in on Tuesday. No courtesy or rent a car. They told me that if the repair was under the coverage, that they would pay for the rent a car. So they changed the stabilizer bar and that wasn't it.So after 4 more days they tell me they found a small amount of fluid from my shock in the strut, but that is not covered under my plan and wanted to charge me $750. I found my coverage receipt and called them up to find out that my struts are covered under my plan. I then asked if they even called to see if it was covered. NO THEY NEVER CALLED. He said that any inquire into my plan gets add to my folder. Liars! Thieves! And then refused to pay for the rent a car. So a total of 7 days having my car and then was told "it's hard to find out what it is making that noise". No kidding, but that is your job to know. The manager is so inept that he doesn't even know about the coverage that they sell. Then telling me that I need to have that coverage for them to pay for a rent a car. Talking to me with that attitude of superiority and yet him knowing nothing about the coverage. I had to keep my cool as I was about to blow up but caught myself. So I asked for the coverage I bought from them as I wasn't sure where I had put the original. She was to email the coverage. Never got it. Well I found it anyway and it says that I was covered. I hate going there. NO ONE Should, If you have bought a Zurich plan, you can go to any mechanic and they will pay them by credit card. Do yourself a favor and never go back to this car dealership. They suck... UPDATE: They called me and did apologize. After actually calling my coverage plan (Zurich), they found out that I do have rent a car coverage and got that paid for me. They then offered me to bring the car in to change the struts. Which I do not believe is the problem, so I have made an appointment with my local Mechanic to find out what is the problem and Zurich will pay them for the repair. So after putting me thru xxxx with this screw up, it cost them nothing! They didn't even offer to pay for the extra insurance I bought. $11.99 a day for 4 days. So this review will stay here. If I can avoid going back to this dealership, I will. More

Again this dealer aproved that they are edits when they decide to send the car key through regular mail without requiring receiving signature ,so someone rubbed the involop and took the key ,and he or she can steal my car any time . DON'T DEAL WITH THIS DEALER AGIAN AND I WILL GOING TO GIVE THEM BAD REVIEW EVERY DAY, HOPPING THAT NO MORE VICTIM CUSTOMERS DEALING WITH THIS xxxx ANY MORE. More
