There were a few hurdles where my trade-in lost value due to needing new tires and have a few scratches which was tough to accept for me as I believed my car to be in pretty top tier condition, but I understood the costs involved in addressing and Chris helped to make it clear what he was able to do and why, Every step of the way Chris was terrific at talking me through everything and made it feel like an easy standard process. He took the time to answer all of my questions and walk me through the car, how everything worked, and anything I needed to know. The only hurdle which was upsetting was that I was under the impression the car came with the lighting package pre-installed, and only found out that it did not AFTER signing and paying for the car, this is the only item that is still bothering me. After 8 years and nearly 100K miles, we decided to trade in our MDX. The replacement vehicle search began with online auto reviews (Edmunds.com; KKB.COM) and Motor Trend "New Cars/SUV" issue review on the m in our MDX. The replacement vehicle search began with online auto reviews (Edmunds.com; KKB.COM) and Motor Trend "New Cars/SUV" issue review on the models we were interested in. After compiling information, the search was narrowed to these vehicles: Acadia, Enclave, Pathfinder, MDX. We set out to the dealerships and test drove the vehicles, but were not totally satisfied with the ride, car interior and or exterior, proposed monthly payments and the dealer trade in cost did not motivate us to move forward. Howver after two weekends of test driving, we opted to visit Rockland Chrysler Jeep Dodge dealership in Nanuet. We were graciously greeted by Christopher Dooney, he sat with us and listened to our "must have's" and target budget. We were interested in test driving the Jeep Grand Cherokee Limited. Christopher provided a 2014 Limited with a 8.4 multi information screen, navigation, sunroof, leather interior, bluetooth enabled, heated front seats and steering wheel, an infotainment system with a hard drive to down load music files, Wow! After two test drives we felt comfortable the Jeep GC Limited fit our driving expectations. We sat with Chris and negotiated, to our surprise he presented a better than expected monthly payment price, and provided the best offer for my trade in. We agreed and shook hands. Christopher needed to locate the desired car color and trim (white exterior, black interior). Over the week that followed Chris kept us informed on the delivery status, upon delivery i was in and out of the dealership, all the paperwork was completed beforehand. Oh, did i mention my wife loves the car. Chris Dooney professionalism and keen sense of the customer's expectation made us feel very comfortable. He was fair, honest and very knowledgable of the product he is selling. I look forward to dealing with Chris in the years ahead. More
