Despite my initial feeling of "not a minivan", that is what we purchased. Don was not trying to SELL us something but managed to show us that what we didn't want, was really what we needed....I LOVE my new vehicle and the whole family does too. Negotiations were bearable and we didn't have to meet the manager etc...Don handled the sale and didn't have to get the management team involved(except for approval).It was the first time we bought a car that the experience didn't seem "hokey"!!! So I contacted him and now I understand why they were so impressed. Jay is a sincere and knowledgeable sales professional who is attentive and friendly, but never pushy. His commitment to detail and follow up is outstanding. I never felt like I was being sold which is a rarity in the auto business. Jay's sales manager, Rick Small, who I met during the negotiation process was very fair and a complete gentleman. It was a brief, but pleasant experience wrapping up the paperwork with Dante Odoardi in finance who is also very personable. I hope to follow up shortly with a positive review of Rockland's service department. I have heard very nice comments about them. I had limited dealings with one of Rockland’s service advisors, Andres Carrillo, and so far am impressed with his knowledge and follow up. I am a very loyal customer to those that treat me well and this looks like the start of another long term relationship.
