My husband and I recently purchased a 2012 Jeep Grand Cherokee after two months of researching for the right vehicle to buy for our family. Mike was especially helpful and knowledgeable and what impressed us the most was his non-car salesman approach. He really took into consideration our needs and wants for the type ammenities we wanted in a car and he delivered! Mike was instrumental in our decision to coming back to Jeep after owning a 2001 JGC Laredo and not having such a great experience with this earlier model. After leaving the dealership after our first visit, we left thinking - "Wow - that's the first time we left a dealership feeling like our needs were heard and that the salesman didn't try showing us the top of the line models right off the bat". We were very impressed by this!!!!! Additionally Jay was very helpful in securing the financial aspects of this purchase and we are greatful for his support throughout this experience as well. More

After an arduous 3 weeks of car shopping at various dealers in the NY/NJ area, my search came to an abrupt end after i was refered by a friend to visit Rockland CJD delearship. I was specifically refered to salesman Derrick Brickhouse. To make a long story short I really had not even considered Jeep as an option until Mr. Brickhouse changed my perception on the brand and actually made it my final decision to own one. With his not too overbearing and straight forward sales approach I quickly learned that I was getting myself into a good situation where I could be apart of a great line of vehicles for years to come. From the test drive to detailed description of the Jeep grand cherokees options to the actual deal, Mr. Brickhouse made it all clear that I was involved with the right dealership. And on the business side of it I put forth what it was I was looking for numbers wise and he made sure he got them in the ball park so we could move forward. As opposed to other dealers which pretty much gave me the run around as to what they could do and never really meet my requirements. Also to thank for this part of the process would be Rick Small who in the end was the individual making those critical calls to the banks to get it where it needed to be. So in the end about 24 hours after I walked into Rockland CJD dealership I was going home with an outstanding deal on a great Jeep that I never thought I could get. Jeremy was the sales rep that I spoke with a month before I bought my new charger r/t max. I was very clear that I wasent quite ready to purchase just yet and very unlike most car sales rep's he LISTENED to I bought my new charger r/t max. He then asked if it was ok if he contact me at a later date just to check in, I agreed and was shocked not to get the hard sell but rather a phone call a few weeks later just checkin in on me, seeing if i was still in the market. In the meantime I did my homework, reasearch and competitive shopping and when I was ready, as I promised, I called Jeremy. My wife and I showed up 1 hour before he was supposed to get off work for the night and he greeted us with a smile, handshake, and most imporantly he remembered my name. He took us on another test drive since my wife wasnt with me the first time befor we came back and decided to "talk turkey". Throughout the entire time Jeremy took his time with us, explained all the newances of the car, answered all my questions and was a consumate gentelman throughout. When we agreed on the purchase price he introduced us to Jay Murali, who was also just as friendly, courtious and knowledgeable. The charger that I bought at Rockland C.J.D was the second car that I ever purchesed and compared to the first car I bought, the sales staff, just like my new car, is a much improved experence then what it was at the last place I purchesed a vehicle.
