I have been a customer at Rockland Jeep chrysler Dodge for about 13 years and for the most part the service has been excellent or I would not have been coming back. My battery indicator came on, and I immediately brought my car to this shop. I was told all was well, and to bring it back if the light should return. The following day my car was dead, and required towing my car to this shop. I was told all was well, and to bring it back if the light should return. The following day my car was dead, and required towing. It was then I learned that the battery light came on because the alternator had been malfunctioning, resulting in burned wires. This was an indication to me that no one bothered checking why the battery light came on, they simply checked the strength of the battery (which was fine), and sent me on my way. When I was finally able to reach the advisor, and express this concern, he stated "we don't deal with these types of issues on Saturday's." To be clear, I was not asking for the problem to be fixed on Saturday, but to be assessed and make suggestions. After all, that is part of what their job entails. Essentially the task was rushed and not properly looked into to, placing me and my family's life at risk. I reached out to management who said I needed to schedule an appointment and the next availability was approximately 5 weeks out. She then said if I was not in agreement with their policy, to contact cooperate. I spoke to a representative at cooperate and was literally told me "you are not a priority. At this point it was clear to me that Jeep was not the brand I thought they were. The Rockland location in particular was negligent, and did nothing to rectify their wrong. I also had to call every few days to get updates because no one was reaching out to me. I would never recommend anyone here nor will I ever return. More
