Above and beyond I was traveling in the Midwest when ‘AVA’, my 2018 Avalon hybrid was due for her scheduled maintenance. The staff at Rolling Hills in St Joseph I was traveling in the Midwest when ‘AVA’, my 2018 Avalon hybrid was due for her scheduled maintenance. The staff at Rolling Hills in St Joseph was excellent. They even helped me with the silly new cruise design, which had no bearing on the scheduled maintenance. Pleasant, clean, and sparkling restrooms left a positive impression. More

Light up and unhappy Was told $23 for a headlight and never mentioned the Labor would cost more than the headlight. I would have never pays $45 for a headlight. That’s why im not going to boy it my new car here. Going elsewhere because I felt it was dishonest. He said “you need a headlight to pass inspection “ I said how much. He said “only $23” I said okay then let’s do that. I know the bulb is not expensive so I was very shocked and Minuit upon payment too. Oh well there are other Honda dealerships. They also checked me in twice. I said I did it Larry. But he wouldn’t listen. More
Transmission issues, no help I bought a certified pre-owned CR-V for $25K in 2017. Pretty soon I noticed issues with it and reported them to the dealership multiple times. They can’t get the problem to replicate, and I can’t leave my car in SJ for days on end hoping the problem will show it’s face, but I was told it was a possible transmission issue. The most prevalent issue is that it sometimes dies when backing out of the garage. It probably does this 3-4x a month randomly. I just rolled over 60K and found out that a Honda warranty is only good for 60K, so if I have transmission failure I will be liable for the replacement on a car with so few miles even though I’ve reported it multiple times. I won’t likely buy there again, so I couldn’t recommend it to others at this point. The warranty is not good. My previous cars had 100k power train warranties. I thought Honda was supposed to be superior. More
