Dealer service departments are generally not great, but Romano Jeep is by far the worst I've ever dealt with. They are only getting one star because zero is not a choice. Between then and the time I brought my vehicle in, a few other things came up that I wanted addressed, since the vehicle is under warranty. I made a detailed list and included it in the night drop envelope. The next morning I got a call from the service advisor Anthony. He was extremely rude and refused to look at anything on the vehicle other than what I had previously mentioned when I booked the appointment. At that point I was tempted to just pick up the car, but one of the issues that had developed was a very noisy driver front wheel bearing. I got Anthony to agree to at least look at that. That was the last phone call or text I received. After that they called or texted my wife, even though my information was both on the night drop envelope and the note I enclosed. When my wife told me my car was done (because they called her, not me) I called Anthony to find out what was done. Besides the maintenance and recalls I requested, he informed me that they replaced the right front bearing. I thought that was odd because I had already diagnosed a failed left bearing. I picked up the vehicle after hours. The first thing I noticed was the hood was left open. Fortunately there is a warning message so I didn't drive away like that. Second the oil life monitor was not reset. I checked the oil and it looks like they did change it, although it's slightly over filled. But the biggest issue, besides Anthony's attitude, was that I got half a block down the road and the left front bearing is still loud! They put 12 miles on the car and they didn't notice the noise was still there! Anything over 20 mph and you can hear it. Complete incompetence. I will never do business here again. Follow up to my above review: I picked up my vehicle from Nye where they not only replaced the very bad left front wheel bearing, but also had to replace the right front bearing again due to improper installation at Romano! Never cleaned the mounting surface on the knuckle and did not torque the axle nut so in under 100 miles it was already loose. Now I'm wondering if they even bothered to do my recalls or if they just checked them off as done. More

Last November (2021) I brought my car in and had the front brakes replaced. In March of this year, I brought the car back in because the front brakes were making noise. I was told it was because the bac front brakes replaced. In March of this year, I brought the car back in because the front brakes were making noise. I was told it was because the back brakes had damaged the front. (The back brakes were done at another dealership in July). I brought it into a Chrysler dealership in April to check the brakes and there were no problems with the back but the fronts needed to be replaced. After only four months the front brakes should be under Mopar's warranty. The company refused to do anything whatsoever about the front brakes and the person in the service department was extremely rude.. More

Sure don’t feel like a valued customer anymore! All Eric Payne had to say is: “we’ll take care of it” on a couple of computer problem regarding an inspection on my 2017 GC Limited. That’s it, just say that and then if there are any issues come address them (which there were none.) I was accused off the bat of not having an appt. I did have an appointment but then his xxxxty attitude kicked in for a second time in 4 months. So after 4 Jeeps and an 15 yr. relationship w this dealer, I’m done! Any other dealers out there, I’m ready to trade. I have a 2015 loaded Wrangler w only 12k on it and no lean and a 2017 GC Limited w 15k and a lease soon up. Amazing how the service department can lose sales for a company and tear down a long relationship. I did enjoy the sales people but the service department needs training. More

They go out of their way to make it less painful.The sales department caught me in the waiting room.I asked about a used vehicle on the lot.Instead of working with what I wanted and knew I needed,he tried to high pressure me into a brand new very expensive vehicle. I explained what I wanted and why.He told me that wasnt what I wanted-nor should I consider the lower priced vehicle.And so I went a way down the road and immediately bought what I needed from another dealer. More
