i could not be more dissatisfied love the car, hate the dealership. i spent close to 6 months researching different brands and models and researching everything under the sun to find love the car, hate the dealership. i spent close to 6 months researching different brands and models and researching everything under the sun to find myself with ready to buy a VW. it checked off more boxes than other brands for a good price. one thing i failed to research, was the DEALERSHIP. this is the type of dealership that creates the negative stereotype. if kingston volkswagon was the last dealership on earth, i would buy a mule!! i chose them because they were the closest vw dealer, and although they didnt give me the best price, i wanted to buy from the dealer that would be doing the service and have a good rapport with them. it was worth the few hundred bucks difference to have that relationship, but their true colors have been shown and REGRET is all i have left. i now go to hudson valley volkswagon in wappingers and i wish i had bought my car from them. it's a night and day difference and i urge anyone reading this who is considering a new or used car from kingston vw to BUY ELSEWHERE! anywhere else. i've dealt with shady dealerships before, but these folks are in a league of their own. GOOD LUCK! oh, and before someone from kingston VW writes a "response from the owner" trying to smooth things over, dont waste the keystrokes. you had all the opportunities in the world to make things right. take your bad review and learn from it.
