I am disappointed by the post you placed in dealer rater. We are highly committed to providing exceptional customer service. Sometimes there are issues that arise that might prevent us from doing so in some customer's eyes. This is clearly one of those cases. It appeared that no matter what I said during our conversation, nothing was acceptable to you. Based on our conversation, I explained to you that I didn't have any additional wiggle room in the price of the vehicle but I did say I would correct the "so called issues" you said you had with the vehicle. You refused and said that of the 16 other Tiguans you looks at. This was the roughest. I can understand and appreciate your point but you can easily buy one of the other cars you looked at and just leave it at that. It is funny however, that when I suggested that, you made an offer on mine. So I guess my car must not have been that bad since you wanted to buy it. When I explained I couldn't do a price adjustment, you then decided to rip me on dealer rater. That to me just looks like a bad sport when I couldn't meet your demands. It was unnecessary and your efforts here still won't get you a better price.

Since you couldn't fix the car right in the first place, I wouldn't trust you and your clowns to fix it right now. You're entitled to your opinion. But I already gladly purchased a car from Nemer. So I couldn't care less what you have to say. I wouldn't do business with you, and I will continue to share my opinion of your poor quality vehicles.

Also, I didn't make you an offer. I said I wouldn't spend over X on it. Not quite the same thing. Taken as is, if the price was right, I would fix all the issues myself. I've been working on VWs for over 10 years and obviously care much more about quality and doing the job right than anyone at your operation. What a freaking joke.

Actually, I'll give you a FREE tip - Get off the internet and stop worrying about reviews. Go babysit whatever idiots you have working in your shop and make sure they actually do proper work. Then you might actually be able to sell a car in less than 110+ days. That would be a better use of your time. A customer shouldn't have to bring all of these issues to you on a CERTIFIED car....

While I can sympathize with the review and his opinions. It was clear from the onset he was only interested in getting an additional discount off the price of the vehicle. Even though he claimed the vehicle he looked at had issues, he was still willing and prepared to buy it but wanted an additional discount. The customer became rather irate when I could not offer any other discounts. We have since sold the vehicle in question and it's new owner couldn't be happier. We are committed to selling high quality vehicles that pass Volkswagen's rigorous 123 point checklist. All of our technicians are VW Certified and going through extensive training to maintain their credentials. We stand behind everything we sell. We are the largest volume Volkswagen Certified Pre-Owned Dealer in the Hudson Valley and we couldn't do that without selling a quality product and providing great service.

I didn't become irate at all, ever. When it became clear that you weren't willing to make a deal, I shook your hand and said "Thanks for your time" then left. So on top of everything else, you're a liar. I would have considered buying the vehicle if the price was right because I could have repaired the issues myself. After your shop did such a poor job the first time around, I wasn't going to trust you and your clowns to get the job done right. I feel sorry for the new owner and I wish them the best of luck. Hope they see this review.

I'd like to add - I turned around and bought a 2010 Tiguan from Nemer VW two days later. Couldn't be happier. Didn't have any of these issues and the sales manager was capable of intelligent negotiation. I HIGHLY recommend Nemer. It's worth the drive over dealing with these clowns in Kingston.
