Communication and expectations could be better. Tight time frame so I wont deduct for that. Quality result. However, I wish I had better communication via text maybe? What should’ve been a simple fix was a huge headache. Overall Rosen hyundai is great to work with. Got several vehicles here. This go around with the service depot was rediculous. I had an oil change and tire rotation appointment scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on Friday, 6/5. We arrived at approximately 10:40 a.m. and checked in with the service advisor. During check-in, I informed scheduled for 10:45 a.m. on Friday, 6/5. We arrived at approximately 10:40 a.m. and checked in with the service advisor. During check-in, I informed the advisor that our horn was not working and asked whether there was a recall related to the issue. He advised that there was no recall, but that the repair would be covered under warranty. He also explained that the horn could not be repaired that day and that I would need to schedule a separate appointment. While that was disappointing, I understood and accepted it. What I do not understand is why a simple oil change and tire rotation took over two hours to complete after I was told the service would take about one hour. That delay alone was frustrating. What concerns me even more is that when I received the vehicle multi-point inspection report, it indicated that the horn was in good working condition. It is clearly not working, and I specifically discussed the issue with the service advisor before the vehicle was serviced. This leads me to believe that the horn was never actually checked during the inspection. If something as simple and obvious as a non-functioning horn is incorrectly documented on an inspection report, it raises serious concerns about the credibility of the entire inspection process. It makes me question how many other items were marked as inspected without actually being checked. As a customer, that does not give me confidence that the vehicle was properly evaluated, and it certainly makes me question whether I should continue bringing this vehicle—or any future vehicles—to your dealership for service. I would appreciate an explanation regarding both the excessive service time and the inaccurate inspection report. More
