I knew when I decided to look for a new vehicle that I had sub-par credit. I assumed that all dealerships were the same and that I would get the same interest rate and approximate price regardless of whe had sub-par credit. I originally stuck to local dealerships around town in order to save time. I was treated like a chump because of my credit and couldn't get a fair price. That is, until I contacted John Miller at John L. Sullivan Chevrolet in Roseville. John and the crew treated me with respect and vowed to work with the vast lender network they have to get me a fair interest rate on a good truck. To be honest, I didn't think they could pull it off. Not only did they get me in to a like-new truck with low mileage, they saved me a ton of money in the process. The truck I bought from John Miller had 40k less miles, was 6 years newer and the interest rate on the loan was 5 points lower than the last vehicle I had been approved for at another dealership! The price on the truck was also excellent and these factors combined meant that I had an almost-identical payment on this newer truck as I would have had on the previous one. If the crew at John L. Sullivan can do all this for me with my credit then imagine what they can do for you. John Miller was so much fun to work with he really put my mind at ease. He did all the leg work for me before I even arrived at the dealership. All I had to do was sign a few pieces of paper and drive away in my new truck. After working with him for less than a day I already felt like I had known him for years. If you do not live in the Roseville area, do what I did and give John a call. Maybe it would be a long drive for you like it was for me but in the long run it saved me a ton of time and money and I know they will do the same for you. Next time John Miller and John L. Sullivan will be my first stop, and probably my last. More

By the time I met with him after work he had just what I wanted sitting by the doors ready and waiting for my arrival. Never have I had quite the experience shopping for a vehicle as I had with John L Sullivan. Jose is the reason for my wonderul, stressless experience at making my purchase. He is very accommodating and understanding. My children are so impressed with my experience that they too will be visiting Jose to purchase their next vehicles in the really near future. Jose didn't come on too strong trying to force me into a vehicle I didn't want or need. He understood my needs and worked his best to get me what I wanted. I personally will always purchase my vehicles using Jose as my salesman. in addition, I've had to bring my van in for minor maintenance and that experience was awesome as well. HEY, they even wash your vehicle after servicing it! AWESOME! Also, I LOVE their popcorn! KUDOS! More
We didn't go in to the dealership to actually buy a new vehicle, just to look. But, we found our new Chevy pickup waiting for us on the lot. Arash and Jim were great. They let us figure out that our new pickup belonged in our driveway. Kuddos to both of them for their approach! If I had any complaint about the process, it would be that we had to wait way too long to finalize the paperwork because their management and finance staff were very busy. More

Sullivan to get another car or recommend this place. Not only are they friendly, but they are so helpful. I asked for water, and the sales manager gave me and my dad water bottles and told us there was a water cooler for more water. Everyone I spoke too, even the receptionists were very helpful and friendly. When it came down to the price there was no pressure I laid down what i was going to pay and Randy said let me see what I can do, and he did it. I love my Jeep and I love the experience I had here. The only thing that I did not really like, but I still gave it 5 stars, were the finance person. He was friendly, but he kept going and going and going about me getting an extended warranty. I think after the 1st time I told him no Thank You, that would have been enough. That's the only thing, but I still did not lower the rating, because the sales people and the staff were awesome. It was a pleasure working with John. From the very first email we sent him to walking out of the dealership with our new car he was attentive and helpful through the entire process. After receiving our email John called us to answer any questions we had and stayed in touch with us as we did our research. John was not pushy, but consistent in his communication. He personally inspected the condition of the car and reported his findings to us. Since we live 2 1/2 hrs away it wasn't possible for us to make the trip up to Roseville just to inspect the car. We trusted John and his expertise to check the condition of the car and help us finalize our decision. Once we narrowed down our choices between the car at John Sullivan and another dealership we told John we were leaning toward the vehicle at Sullivan. He put a 24 hour hold on the car for us. When we made our decision we then had to schedule the drive to pick up the car. John worked out all the details with us so we knew exactly what we needed to bring with us in order to fill out the paperwork. We called him from the car on the way there and he saved us time by getting all the relevant information from us over the phone before we arrived. Once we arrived John had all of our paperwork ready to process, he filled our gas tank for us and even bought us dinner because our wait to meet with the financial agent ran a little long and I hadn't eaten all day. He made an otherwise long and tedious day bearable through his upbeat attitude, his ability to put you at ease, his thoughtfulness and professionalism. John went above and beyond for us. We saw a new truck advertised on the Sullivan website that we were interested in. Fred attempted to help us get information on it, but after checking 2 lots over a one hour period, finally admitted ther that we were interested in. Fred attempted to help us get information on it, but after checking 2 lots over a one hour period, finally admitted there was no such truck as listed (and apparently never had been.) We asked him about a different truck on the website and after some time, John Miller called instead of Fred and wanted to know what we were interested in. We repeated to him the same info we'd given Fred. An hour or so later, John Miller calls back and says the second truck we'd seen on the web wasn't exactly as shown on the web. In fact, they had changed the bed for a work box/bed. He promised to send us emails of what they did have available (since clearly, the web site was completely inaccurate.) After an hour or more of waiting and a couple more phone calls to him with the promise he was working on it, my husband phoned him and asked where the emails were. John said he had sent them and would send them again. Instead, my husband received an email from John simply stating, "please call me." My husband did call him, received a voice mail machine and left another message. We've not heard back from him again. So, trucks listed on the site that did not exist, or were not as advertised and no response after multiple attempts. I think we'll mark John L. Sullivan off of our list of possible dealers. More
I had the best purchasing experience with Chris Kircher. I was approved the night before picking up my car the next day. He was very personable and professional that made me feel very important and spe I was approved the night before picking up my car the next day. I had to file bankruptcy recently, but I still needed a car to drive. I thought I would need to buy an unreliable car from a private party because of the bankruptcy. Mr. Kircher contacted me after I applied online for financing. He explained the process to me and we worked together to find something that fit into my budget and could get financed. This work was great, but what set this dealership apart from others is their willingness to work for me. I live over three and a half hours from the dealership, so at 5 pm when I spoke to Mr. Kircher I asked when could I come in to look at a vehicle he suggested. It was a certified pre-owned car with a service plan that takes care of routine maintenance for the first two years, in addition to the manufacturer warranty that is still left. He was willing to stay later that night for me and my family to drive in to look at the car. There was no guarantee of a purchase and yet he stayed. Once I was at the dealership, past 9 pm, no person made us feel rushed. The whole process was efficient and Mr. Kircher already had most of the paperwork done. Everyone was very friendly and the process was done in a little over an hour. Although I did not like the interest rate, realistically I cannot complain because it is my situation that calls for the high interest. If this dealership treats me this good, in my credit situation, I can only imagine how well they would be when my credit improves. More
My husband and i decided to shop on line for a new car and knew that we wanted a Chevy Malibu. I am always hearing about John L. Sullivan so we thought we would start there. We told him what we were looking for and our situation and he immediatley jumped in to help. He was very friendly and helpful with filling out the necessary forms on the computer the night before we went in the next day. When we arrived to the dealership he had our car already out front and was there to greet us with a handshake and smile. He made us feel very comfortble while we waited as he got all the paperwork in order. After about an hr. or so Byron came and told us everything was in order and the car was ready!
