To make a very long story (nightmare) short, I purchased a Chevy Aveo in December,2012 and do to other issues started driving in February, 2013. Vehicle was in the shop approximately 6 times and then I was told, "unfortunately the Aveo is a very light weight vehicle that can feel a bit unstable when you are not used to this size vehicle." After this I did not feel safe in driving the car. Yet they sold me the car. After 9 hours and them putting me in tears and being out a lot of money I have a different car but it cost me a lot of time, energy and money. check your tax rate, they are over charging tax rates. I live in Sacramento COUNTY and they charged me city rates and they are saying their computer does it, well I hate to tell them their computer is WRONG!!!!!! Update-purchased the second vehicle to replace the first lemon and according to the certified 172 point inspection on March 5, 2013 it was inspected. On April 22, 2013 I had to have the AC Compressor replaced, a part that was supposedly inspected. More

We decided on the Chevy Equinox and after m BEST CAR BUYING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Our family was in the market for a used SUV for our growing family. We decided on the Chevy Equinox and after much research we chose John L. Sullivan Chevrolet in Roseville because they had the biggest selection of used vehicles in the Sacramento/Roseville area. We couldn't have asked for a better salesman than Tron La. He was so personable and friendly and knew his cars well. He was able to knowledgeably answer our questions and anything that he wasn't 100% certain of, he wouldn't answer without verifying the info first. He didn't just tell us what we wanted to hear, he was very honest and upfront, which was so refreshing! We really appreciated his patience as we looked at just about every possible Equinox on the lot! We never felt hurried or rushed and Tron made the whole process very entertaining! He put a lot of effort into listening to us and finding exactly what we wanted. We truly enjoyed our interaction during the whole selection process. It felt like we were out test driving cars with a good friend! After we finally decided on the Equinox we wanted, it was time to negotiate. I was really dreading this part, but Tron said we would be dealing with Ray Snider and that he would treat us right. And once again, Tron was right. Ray, the sales manager, was fabulous! He made us feel comfortable and we felt like we could trust him. We negotiated a purchase price that was right on target with our budget and was without all the drama of the back and forth that is so typical of the car buying experience. Of course we negotiated to get the best price, but we were treated in a very professional and respectful manner. We even got exactly what we wanted for our trade! And to top it off, we did this all in about 20 minutes! We have purchased cars from Audi, BMW, Ford, and Dodge, and none of those went as smoothly as this. Finally, a car dealership that actually appreciates our business! We absolutely love our Chevy Equinox. I know that we got a great deal and I'm proud to be part of the Chevy family! Since our buying experience was so radically different than all previous ones, I am telling everyone I know to give John L. Sullivan Chevy a chance at earning their business. You will not be disappointed. And don't forget to ask for Tron! He's a great salesman, devoid of games, and will work hard to get you exactly what you want. And he's just a nice guy! More
Very poor customer service. Sold us a certified car with 1 key and no fobs. When calling to check status was givn attitude by a employee named Josh that hung up on me. This streamlined the process and made the purchase fast, easy and enjoyable. While waiting to sign the purchase papers John brought our 18 year old son on a drive in a 2013 Camero SS. To begin with, I chose John L. Sullivan Chevrolet for a couple of reasons. One, they had a large selection and two, they are a high volume dealer. My first contact was over the Internet as I was researching vehicles. Jose Martinez sent me an email and then called me as well. I told Jose what I wanted and what price I was willing to pay. Initially he couldn't work with my price range, but decided to wait and if a deal came up, he'd let me know. About a week after first contact, Jose called with good news about a new special they were having putting the Chevy Volt that I was interested in down into my price requirements. So, I came on in for a test drive. Jose was great to work with, as he helped me figure out which Volt to choose. He laid out the options clearly, helping narrow down what I wanted to the exact vehicle. I didn't feel pressured or manipulated at all. I don't like "sharks" as I can see or smell them coming as soon as I pull into a dealership. Jose was just himself working hard to be helpful. Finalizing the deal went smoothly and the gals that helped in the finance and vehicle orientation were enjoyable and easy to work with. I feel great about my purchase and am excited to have this new Volt. More
We shopped around online at several dealerships when looking for a used Chevy Traverse. Jose was continuously prompt, efficient and friendly every time I contacted him. He was equally straightforward and efficient. The paperwork and the whole process was quick and painless. I felt like everyone there, from the receptionist to the salesperson to the finance guy was professional and very friendly. It was one of the best vehicle purchase experiences I've had. They appreciated the fact that I was 7.5 months pregnant and had a 3 hour drive ahead of me and did everything they could to expedite the process and make it quick and easy. And we absolutely LOVE the vehicle. I felt like we got a great price on a great vehicle. Overall we could not be happier with our experience and would definitely recommend this dealer. More

The absolute best! I've purchased 15 new or used vehicles in my lifetime and can say without hesitation that Byron Aguilar is the best man in the industry bar none! The saying about "going the extra mile" doesen't apply here as Byron goes ten miles and doesen't consider it as "extra" The best qualities Byron has is making you feel like a friend or family member. You trust him, like him and feel right at home with him. His knowledge on every aspect of vehicle purchase is amazing, from financing to fabric protection Byron either knows the answer or will find it quickly for you. His ability to listen to your needs and wants is what really put me over the top, he REALLY listens, makes your concerns his concerns and finds solutions to every single concern! Byron broke the rules big time to satisfy my wife and my particular needs so much so that I don't think I can explain here for fear of getting him in trouble with his bosses, but trust me when I tell you that Byron risked an amazing amount to fulfill our special needs in making our new care purchase happen. I can't reccomend Byron enough to everyone, you really will come away with a deal and an experience that will make you smile! If you desire a buying experience that is NOT the "typical" or "imagined" stress affair we sometimes associate with buying a new car but rather an "New Car Buying Experience" that is as enjoyable and memorable as actually driving off the lot with your new car for the very first time felt then Byron Aguilar is the man to see! I was a little disappointed when I learned that the vehicle I had come over to see had already been sold, but, as it turned out, I wound up getting probably just a good or better vehicle/deal than I wo vehicle I had come over to see had already been sold, but, as it turned out, I wound up getting probably just a good or better vehicle/deal than I would have gotten on the one I originally had in mind. That is largely due to the great products and service available at this dealership. It happened that John Miller was able to help me identify and put together a good deal on another car that I feel completely satisfied with at this moment. John was friendly and energetic without being pushy. He gave me time to think about the situation and also gave me some good ideas that helped put the matter into proper perspective. I really appreciate his help finding the right car and putting together a good deal for me. I have no complaints about the experience. As I said, I believe this place has fine products and excellent customer service. Thanks! More
