Careless mechanic I have been to this dealerships for past 2 years. The only time I received exceptional service is when I went to them the first time. My two stars ar I have been to this dealerships for past 2 years. The only time I received exceptional service is when I went to them the first time. My two stars are for that first service only. Thanks to the mechanic Brandon. The service has been just okay every time I go to John L Sullivan Chevrolet. The mechanics don't tighten the lugs when they perform tire rotation, they changed the battery and the battery compartment was not closed right, I have a bug deflector which is now hanging out, after the tire rotation I now have the "Service tire pressure monitoring system" light on which I have already have them looked at twice and the light still keeps coming back. The mechanics perform sloppy work and doesn't take time to make sure they tightened every bolt and nut and everything is done right. They seem to just want to get the vehicle out of their service center and the service managers ( ones who take the keys and does the paperwork ) seem to be okay with the sloppy service. I showed the lugs issue to the service manager ( one who took the keys and did the paperwork ) and he said lugs have no torque and they never get tight. The lugs were just hanging and I was able to rotate them with my two fingers. To me they just want customer's money but not provide quality work on customer's vehicles. Sloppy and careless mechanics and service managers. I am honestly not taking my vehicle to this dealership for service anymore. More

I requested that the service be expedited so I could return to my daughter’s hospital room following surgery. The service technician, Mark Rogers, acknowledged my request and said he would make every effort to get me on my way as quickly as possible. He even asked about my daughter’s condition. The service was done quickly and Mark made sure I was satisfied. I was very impressed. More

STOPPED IN FOR "SALAD" - LEFT WITH A HYBRID After doing some internet "shopping" Tyler "SALAD" Salada invited me in to test drive a new Malibu Hybrid. John L Sullivan was the ONLY dealer in the After doing some internet "shopping" Tyler "SALAD" Salada invited me in to test drive a new Malibu Hybrid. John L Sullivan was the ONLY dealer in the area that even had this car. We absolutely love it! Then Tyler went overboard to find. me the exact car we wanted - even the sharp Cajun Red! He handed me off to Brian in finance who painlessly led us through the mountains and valleys of paperwork to complete the deal. A few days later I returned to the dealer because I thought the fuel gauge must not be working. I had driven the car over 200 miles and it had not budged off FULL. JR came out and checked out the car with me and assured me that all was just fine. He then introduced us to Brian in Parts who fixed us up with a new cover for our new Malibu. Excellent service! And I can't leave out the detailers and the delivery specialist who made the delivery of our new car a most enjoyable experience!! More

Ongoing fueling problem-2014 corvette I have had a problem fueling my corvette using the auto fueling clip on fuel nozzles. The fuel cuts off before full, usually multiple times and at ma I have had a problem fueling my corvette using the auto fueling clip on fuel nozzles. The fuel cuts off before full, usually multiple times and at many different types of gas stations with varying nozzle configurations. This started with a repair to the magnetic fuel cap. Next the anti-siphon nozzle was replaced, which did not fix the problem. On the second visit the dealer said they fueled my car with no problem and said to use fueling stations that don't fuel superfast. I fueled at many different stations over the last six months and only two fueled automatically without shutting off. I had to fuel slowly by hand at all the others. The third visit the technician watched me fuel at a gas station and he could see the nozzle didn't fit properly. The anti-siphon device was replaced again. I fueled once since then and had no problem, but now I have a rattling noise in the vicinity of the fuel nozzle upon acceleration. Back to the dealer again next week. More
