I received a notice of a recall part that needed replaced. I called down to Kia and scheduled an appointment for two weeks out to have the part replaced. When I arrived, I was told that if they didn replaced. I called down to Kia and scheduled an appointment for two weeks out to have the part replaced. When I arrived, I was told that if they didn’t have the part on hand, they would have to order it And I’d have to come back to have it replaced. I asked why if you knew I was coming in didn’t you order it then so it could be replaced and I wouldn’t have to make another trip down from Auburn. I was told they don’t keep that part on hand because if I didn’t keep the appointment, then they’d have parts in the back that aren’t being used and my response was so now you’ve inconvenienced me by making me come down to tell me to go home and I’ll need to come back when you have the part, this is very poor Customer Service. And the person helping me said, well we have to inspect the car to make sure it meets the qualifications for the recall and once again, my response was I received a letter and you can look up my records since I bought the car there and tell what my car is and needed , I’m extremely frustrated at this inconvenience! More
The employees need to reflect a positive image and less griping about the busyness of their job. The young men who welcome you and take your car when you arrive are nice.
