Midway Ford Experience I worked with John Holleran, who was nothing but professional and super attentive. He made my car buying experience quite pleasant and comfortable. No I worked with John Holleran, who was nothing but professional and super attentive. He made my car buying experience quite pleasant and comfortable. Not only was he friendly but seemed very knowledgeable in regards to the various features of the car I purchased. John and the rest of the team took their time to acknowledge me and made sure that I was being helped. I will be a returning customer and will absolutely recommend this dealership and John Holleran to others! Thank you for the great experience. More

He gave me a call and told me that the service would take anywhere from a day to a day and a half. When I asked why it would take so long he said, "Because that's how long it takes". I was a little taken aback by his tone but I still let him know that I had planned on leaving it there for a full day. Long story short, they don't want to do the recall. He basically told me his service department is too busy to help me out right now. This is a dealership for crying out loud! Terrible customer service and now I know everyone here at work says to go somewhere else. More

I was recently shopping for an F-150 truck and looking to trade my vehicle in with the purchase. While test driving and initially looking at the truck our sales man Steve offered to have the inside of the truck cleaned (some how the inside of the truck was very dirty even though the truck had been on their lot for over a month) and a few scratches to the paint buffed out. We agreed on a price for both the trade in and purchase in writing with an email and voice confirmation, however it was going to take a few days to clean and buff out the scratches. Two days later Steve called me and said the truck was ready and would only need a few signatures and we could get the deal done. Right before we signed the paperwork I was told that my trade-in was now worth $750 less than what it was two days ago. Nothing had changed with the car from the time Midway Ford test drove it and gave me the trade in value except that I drove it 10 miles home and back. Their excuse was that the guy who normally does trade in values had a day off and they would not honor the number the other sales manager gave me. They clearly were just trying to squeeze another $750 out of me very dishonestly. One of Steve’s last comments to me was “well at least we got the truck ready to sell now”. I walked out and did not buy the truck. There are plenty of good honest dealers in the metro area, I’ll do business with one of them. More

Unbeknownst to me, the car had these "performance" type tires on it which are dangerous for driving in the snow. The dealership never told me this. During the recent snow storm in January I nearly killed myself getting home. The stablizer/traction system warning light came on as well. When I told this to the dealer they just said "Oh that's the way the car comes with those tires, you just need to change them." I took the car to a Buick dealer who told me I needed to change those tires immediately as it was dangerous and I would need to replace the rear wheel hubs (hence the stabilizer/traction system message). When I went back to the used car manager, he insinuated that because I am a woman I was too stupid to know if the car really needed repair. He kept stalling about getting me an appoint to have the car looked at and of course I never heard from him again. I called the general manager and he never bothered to return my call either. This dealership should not get away with things like this. For a car dealer in Minnesota to sell a car that way is irresponsible. They should have changed the tires, or told me about it so I could have negotiated the cost of new tires in the purchase price or be willing to refund me the cost of changing the tires and making repairs. I should not have to kick out over $1100 on a car I've had for less than 60 days. The fact that they chose to ignore me just rubs salt in the wound. IF YOU ARE A WOMAN DO NOT SHOP THERE! More

When I towed it to my nearest dealer, they quoted me $6700 to get it fixed. Following are the complaints : Engine timing out of time Damaged flex plates No compression in any of the cylinders Should replace long block. The used car manager at midway ford says they can’t do anything about it and cut the call on my face. More
Awful experience Horrible experience. Made an appointment for 8:30am this morning for a small RECALL issue on my 2014 Escape truck. Arrived at 8:30am, to be told that Horrible experience. Made an appointment for 8:30am this morning for a small RECALL issue on my 2014 Escape truck. Arrived at 8:30am, to be told that they were running behind on appointments and would need to keep the car overnight. Not a big deal, until they mentioned that they had zero rental cars available. They directed me to the nearest rental location, Enterprise, but could not use their shuttle system to drive me there unless I waited over 1 hour. Stated that they were unable to reimburse any costs for the rental car, although the need for the rental car was caused by the dealership. Would not recommend. More

Very rude and short to all customers. Even had an argument on the phone with another employee. Handed me the receipt with no explanations. Don't even think the tires were rotated. Looks like I will have to go back to that White Bear Ford. Get some parking and friendly staff... More
Service Scheduled service and when I brought my truck in, the service writer said "my mechanics leave in 15 minutes for the day". Then he says Ford forces us Scheduled service and when I brought my truck in, the service writer said "my mechanics leave in 15 minutes for the day". Then he says Ford forces us to use the on line scheduling. I had already set up a rental so I asked if I could leave the truck, he agreed to get it in the next day. The writer also said it would be a couple of hundred to diagnose the problem and it was closer to $300. The truck was done the next day but I had already left town for a 3 day weekend. When I picked up my truck, it had been left unlocked for the 3 day weekend and wasn't washed, which I was expecting. Not going back, my truck is in need of the same service and not sure if it's a new problem or the same one that I paid to have repaired. Had a chance to "WOW" a new customer but blew it. More
Roseville Midway Ford is awesome! Due to some sub-par work done by another dealer, I found myself 300 miles from home late on Saturday afternoon (10/17/15) in need of a part. Although Due to some sub-par work done by another dealer, I found myself 300 miles from home late on Saturday afternoon (10/17/15) in need of a part. Although the service area was closed, when I described my situation the dealer staff on duty tracked down Dave Gerlach the parts manager. He was kind enough to break away from family time to come and help. He got the part, made the replacement and even gave me a quart of oil! They did not have to do this, especially given that none of my problem was their responsibility, but they put the customer first and covered it! This literally saved our weekend trip to the Twin Cities. THANKS SO MUCH! More
