In for service visit My 2017 Focus was due for its 8K mile oil change. Called and made an appointment to have the work done. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was told My 2017 Focus was due for its 8K mile oil change. Called and made an appointment to have the work done. Upon arriving at the dealership, I was told that their computer system had been struck by lightning the evening before and they were "dead in the water". I spoke with service advisor "Kendall" and she said that they would be able to perform the service, as it was just an oil and filter change. The car was ready about an hour later. Because the computer system was down, I was unable to pay for the service. Kendall stated that she would call me when the computers came back on to get my payment information. I had taken the car in for service on Wednesday, Kendall called on Friday. Two days in a car dealership with no computers, somebody is in deep do-do! More
